[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] awesome picture for such an inexpensive TV use in the small bedroom
"This TV worth every dime...#sweepstakes"
Needed a TV smaller than 32" to fit in a smaller space, and after quite a bit of research, I found this lil guy... It's a perfect fit, and though it's not 1080p, if you're going to be more than 4-5 feet away from the screen your eyes literally can't tell the difference. Better still, the display on this looked better and more natural than the 32" 1080p Vizio that was on display right next to it. I'm a die-hard Samsung guy, but they don't have anything comparable. So, save yourself some coin -- and get this if you're looking for something smaller than a 32" TV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I JUST BOUGHT THIS TV, THE PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE!! VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
purchased for use on a boat, and it is good value, it has an annoying feature that a robotic voice speaks everytime you change the volume or channel, but it can be turned off in the settings section (not the audio section). Not a great picture, but a good picture and other than the voice control, you just plug it in and pick up the remote.
I just bought the TV so far so good. The only thing that I notices is the volume is not that high. Maybe I have more testing to do.
The TV is good value in itself, but audio can make or break an audio/visual product. In this case, its appallingly tinny, plastic-sounding, cheap speakers, let the whole TV down! You'd think that they would give you an output option to attach external speakers...but no such luck! Ruined the experience for me!
Just bought this TV and was very surprised to find that it has no audio output of any type - analog or digital. Cannot connect sound system, external speakers, or headset. When I was searching for a TV and chose this one (mostly for its size - it is short enough, even with legs, to fit in a low niche), it did not cross my mind to check what audio output it has - I assumed any TV must have some. Apparently, not this one... No basic controls (volume, channels, input source) on TV itself other than the on-off switch - do not lose remote control! No VGA input - cannot connect a computer unless it has an HDMI output, and then you need a special adapter cable. TV works; picture is good.
This TV has a great picture, perfect size, good price, but the sound quality is terrible. I have to turn the TV louder than most due to hearing loss, but when you turn it up there is too much treble. I've tried to adjust the sound but nothing works. The sound actually hurts my ears. Bought a sound bar but it wouldn't work. Very disappointed in the sound. So I go into another room to watch my other LG TV most of the time. I feel like I wasted my money on this purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The speakers (sound) was so bad I had to use other means for the sound. My ears absolutely could not stand to listen to the $.50 (cent) speakers! You should be ashamed to put a product like this to market.
