[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this for the recent heat wave and it was really helpful in cooling my home. It does make a lot more noise that I would like but otherwise it’s a great window AC to have. My home is definitely cooler with it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We lived in this home for almost 20years and never thought we really needed AC in Washington, but these past few years, our summer has been very warm! This AC definitely was needed and did a really good job cooling my master bedroom. It's not loud at all and has smart features which is awesome. Cheaper way of having ac! Thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this LG BTU Smart Wi-Fi Window AC is seriously saving me this summer! I was melting before, and now my room will starts to cool down within minutes. It has 2 cooling speeds Energy Saver mode, Sleep Mode, and a 24‑hour timer for customized comfort. What I love most is that I can control it straight from my phone due it being fully Wi‑Fi enabled it works with LG ThinQ app, Alexa, and Google Assistant. It super convenient and allow me to control temperature, set schedules, monitor energy remotely plus let me know when the filter need to clened out. Whether I’m out running errands or curled up watching Netflix, I just tap and adjust the temp without moving. It’s way quieter then i expected plus the sleek white color actually blends into my space without being bulky or ugly.
this unit made more noise than a unit with double the BTUs. I could not put this unit in any room, because if this unnit were in a room were to be in use ,we would need for a PA system. and I don't recommend it
Easy to install. Not too heavy. Cools our bedroom and bath.
Stay away from this air conditioner. I bought two and the first one was defective straight out of the box. It was returned for a refund. Now, two weeks later and the second one is throwing an error message of CL that means a technician needs to work on the fan. It's only been two weeks and it's already messed up too. It will be going back also. Do not buy.
Walmart has one month return on this item. The you have to deal with LG and they are not cooperative. To say nothing of the product completely breaking down after 3 months and this is the second one that has been a poor performer. Not buying LG again.
Well I haven't been able to try it because it got delivered damaged I bought it off of Walmart.com which is a face for other sellers Walmart told me to kick rocks and they can't return it or refund it so I messaged the seller The seller told me to contact Walmart so now I have a broken air conditioner that I'm paying for and it sits in a box works well thanks for absolutely nothing Walmart I appreciate your customer service
its not cooling my area and it 10.000 btu need at least 12.ooo
I genuinely don't understand how this passed any sort of quality assurance, this A/C is terribly designed. This A/C is incredibly loud and I don't see how anyone would be able to sleep with this while it's running their room. Not only is it loud, due to it's temperature based cooling, it will turn the condenser on/off as it sees fit, and when the condenser turns on it does so with a loud boom. The vibration of the AC running can be heard from the floor beneath me. To add to that, the AC is just designed poorly in terms of even cooling. The fan is off-center and because of this is guides the air primarily to the right side of the machine. Even with the built in airflow guides turned to the left, you can still feel most of the air going to the right. The AC does get cold fast, but you know, it's supposed to do that. I would only recommend this AC if you got it for half the price or less and you didn't need to worry about sound.
