[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced two machines for one. Best decision we made. So easy to use and love the all in one process. The lint filter is easy to clean and the automatic dispenser for detergent and softener is convenient. Have had the machine a month but am sure we are saving on electricity and detergent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 2 months ago and am happy with it, after learning and correcting a few things. First, we noticed a loud noise during the spin cycle. Eventually, i discovered it was a rattling back panel in the pedestal, which u solved by removing the drawer and placing a piece of cardboard between the panel and frame. We also had issues with the machine not drying after about 3 weeks and tried everything to address it with no luck. Then, I tried draining the basin and cleaning the drain filter (all easy to do from the front bottom left panel of the machine) and that solved it- before I did that the drain backed up so water was dripping back into the tub from the condenser. It was an easy fix and I guess that will just have to be something I check occasionally. Otherwise we're really happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like being able to throw in a load and not have to switch the load to the dryer. However, the dryer doesn't always complete drying, and I have to run it longer. I'm not sure why it's not sensing the moisture, you'd think it could do that. I did figure out from the scattered and incomplete documentation that you can combine the reservoirs for detergent and softener into one large detergent reservoir. I never use softener, so that was great! The lint trap is a little wonky. The engineers really didn't figure that all the way out. The app tells me when the cycle is done, which is nice, but it says to open the door or remove the load immediately to avoid odors. I don't think this should be required.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit about two months ago. We overall enjoy the unit and it seems to function well. We do have two issues. One is with the dryer function. It doesn't always dry the loads 100% we have done small single item loads, full loads, and everything in between. It has about a 95% chance of drying completely the first time. I know the problem isn't caused by water or power supply and definitely not drainage related as I keep up on cleaning it out due to the amount of animals we have. The other issue we run into is related to user error. The hassle of cleaning the door seal every is annoying and if it gets missed the unit leaks out of one of the corners near the drain. Minor annoyance but nothing terrible. All in all we love the machine and it's simple to use features. The lack of dryer vent and power consumption is great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lint trap is defective. After doing 2 loads my lint trap broke and LG had to send me a new one. Dealing with LG was a nightmare - they were slow to respond, stopped responding, I had to nag them every day, meanwhile I had no working washer. This is a known defect design flaw, see Reddit for more. Shame on LG.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks cool and washes well, but drying is aweful. Between the cost (i.e. not cheap), a decent amount of 5 star reviews and TV marketing claim that it can do a load start to finish in under 2 hours, I was sold on it. I was a little surprised when the first small test load started with 4 hours to go, rather than the advertised 2 hours. I was more surprised after the 4 hours that the clothes were still damp. But I was astonished when a dry only cycle that was started before going to bed still told me I had 4 minutes to go in the morning...and the clothes were still damp. If you are OK with hanging every load for an hour or two to finish the drying, this unit might be fine. But for anyone who is used to a 'real' dryer, it is not. BTW...the all-in-one unit was returned for separate units (WM6700HBA and DLEX6700B), and they work great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned this product within a day and a half of having it . It can take up to 3 hours to wash a load and at the end you still have to select the DRY setting at least twice to finish drying one load of laundry. That dry setting goes on for two hours snd forty five minutes two times ! don't forget . What a nightmare. Great idea , but this all in one needs more work .
Had it for 1 month and it's the worst machine ever. It look like the perfect solution on paper but it's been a nightmare. First, it started drying forever stuck on 4 minutes. Repairman was sent out and said don't use detergent packs (even though it says they're ok in the manual). No improvement switching to liquid detergent. LG tech was sent out. Replaced the main board and sensor. No real improvement. This week it ran a load of towels and said on "4 minutes" drying for 12 hrs. I stopped it and the towels were like cardboard with a few damp spots. Totally ruined. Yesterday it stopped drying and now has a lot of moisture or something in the lint filter. We're a family of 5 so no washer/dryer is a huge problem. Asking for refund. I don't have the time to attempt another one. Run away,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sensor doesn't work on our unit. I threw our first load of towels in on the towel setting at 9pm and went to bed. My husband opened the laundry room fort at 7:30 am. The washer/dryer combo was still drying. The room was very hot and the towels had been dry, I'm sure, for hours. This was on a Saturday. 2 repairmen came on Friday. They took it apart and cleaned it, didn't replace the sensor. We haven't heard back from them yet. I've been letting all loads run for 3-4 hours. If it doesn't stop drying by then I open the door and everything is dry. I let the last load of towels run for 4 1/2 hours. It didn't quit, but was very dry. I don't like our clothes getting over dry. I don't feel safe leaving the dryer unattended. I would not recommend purchasing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the washer and all but we have only used it 40 times and a clip on the filter broke. So it doesn't go through a whole cycle without the filter saying it's popped up. So we have to keep something heavy on top of it so it goes through the cycle. Would be great if we could get a new filter since we have insurance on it.
