Finally found the right tv to upgrade from OLED77Cx and soooo glad I bought this 83G6 tv. Brightness / contrast adjustment aloud me to fine tune the screen to suit my room. Resolution for all inputs is awesome. From Youtube, apple tv and firestick 4k, to unbelievable picture quality for PS5 with Grand Turismo. Colours are amazing... when watching fishing videos or even watching NRL. The tv is super smart to pick up 4k content for dolby vision and the smart remote quickly allows you to use the LG remote to control external devices. Viewing is sooo easy on the eyes from any angle -- we love the bigger picture.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV. Easy to mount with supplied wall bracket. Easy to connect to all devices and cable up. Had to reroute existing cable layout as different than my previous TV. Fantastic picture. Very bright. For my personal taste i toned down the reds a little.. Very impressed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After weeks of insomnia and research, the G5 was the answer to all my questions. For context, I was looking for: - A flagship TV for the cinematic experience - TV able to handle video games - Enough brightness due to the large window in the living room - Perfect Blacks and rich colours If you're tv isn't about to be exposed in direct sun, let me tell you one thing: daylight isn't a big deal with this TV: It's bright enough, reflection is handled very well by the pannels and diminishes them a maximum. (Dark movies or video games will be hard to watch in day light doesn't matter the TV). Kudos to LG to give you your mode based on what you like in terms of images. The movie Coco will blow your minds for sure!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant tv for those of us with failing eyesight. Easy to operate even before the tutorial. It connects to phone and tablet easily unlike previous models I've had. Gives lots of choice for settings, especially sound which is useful when watching something where the voice needs to be clearer. The only thing I don't like is the chat bot, it's too familiar off the bat and prying in its questions. It just creeped me out, but that's a personal taste I suppose.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this tv to replace a 65 inch lg older model, and I have zero regrets about it. I was worried the larger screen may cause eye strain but it's so clear and well contrasted that it's no different than looking at everyday life close up. My migraines have actually calmed down, I assume the refresh rate has helped tremendously so I no longer fear catching up on my programmes! Nature programmes are absolutely stunning and the colour brightness for animals makes you feel like it's just there with you! The flat to the wall design looks beautiful and polished on my media wall. I'm very pleased with my tv thank you LG!
I purchased this TV after revieving the same model in the LG level 44 show room. The brightness, contrast, resolution & colour is outstanding. The viewing angle is also very friendly, can view from multiple angles. I highly recommend this TV due to the picture quality and the very sharp image as well as the dark blacks which are outstanding. Furthermore the sound feature with Dolby Atmos makes the experience very enjoyable, whether you are watching movies or playing UTUBE videos etc. A highly recommended TV for a very wide audience & all age groups. The build quality is also very good, in other words robust & solid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most effective form for entertaining purposes with great quality for picture and sound, easy to setup and show quick performance. The video quality is top notch. Brightness can be easily adjusted and responsible for keeping my family member busy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good picture , frustrating to operate, it doesn't recognise the voice and hitting buttons is catastroph . Try one , while touching the next ( inevitable ) and start from the beginning. Hundreds of messages pop on the screen and staying for a minute,” eating “the screen. Very complicated to browse on the features. Ai as usual bland information hub ,no variations that makes it useless most of the time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture and generally top end. I question whether all the variables are easy enough to understand and select when required. Early start up issues and major loss from LG I bought 8 years back as recent models do not support HDMI ARC + Optical sound out. Using hearing aid box became very, very challenging and LG did not reply to my enquiry!
The TV is good, but it doesn't come with a functional remote. The remote provided is useless, it's missing all the buttons you need when operating the TV, unless you only use it for streaming. LG only cares about users who want buttons for all the streaming apps and nothing else, if you don't use streaming apps LG doesn't care about you and expects you to work through on screen menus for basic functionality that is normally achieved with a quick remote button press. To make it worse they know that it's a useless remote as they actually provide a proper remote in some markets, unfortunately we live in a country LG doesn't care about. I've had to use an old IR remote, as an IR remote with the buttons needed is still better than a Bluetooth remote without the buttons you need. Extremely poor that a TV costing so many thousands doesn't come with a functional remote.
