Pros: 1. Very Lightweight and bright Screen. 2. No buggy firmware as LG updated it, which makes it fast. 3. Dolby Digital output on Sonos Sound bar when connected with HDMI or Optical cable. If any Sound-bar supports Dolby output it will be a plus using this TV, it really makes a difference. 4. Cinema or Film Maker display mode is very soothing for eyes. Cons: It has 2 HDMI ports . But can be increased using HDMI splitter. Note: Will recommend buying -All State Insurance @ 36$ for 4 years : Extra peace. Do update firmware once installed. Will recommend this TV.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great product and the resolution is awesome!!
I loved the ease of shopping, I purchased the 55' LG TV and they made pickup so easy, my product was brought out to my car and loaded for me. I love the picture and while I am still learning the apps and stuff it was a great purchase for the price. I truly love my new TV.
Got this TV on a Black Friday special to replace the 52 inch I had. Not only did I get a great Deal on this LG but the color on this TV and resolution is awesome! And with the Webos I get free channels! What more could I want? Great Deal with a Great TV. Thanks Walmart......this was a Score!
this was my first big purchase ever, that wasnt a video game lol. i was very nervous not knowing the size and the quality but its been two-threeish months and i have NO regrets. I used to use my xbox to watch tv now its so much easier since i get to control the volume now xD
The only downside is that the tv is slow to respond to buttons pressed on remote with the exception of the volume button. You click on any other button and you have to wait about 2 seconds for the tv to respond. I'm used to instant responses from our other televisions.
This unit is fantastic value but Not for customers who are not tec savvy. it has no RCA Jack's so you won't be able to hook up your older DVD , Or sound systems without purchasing an RCA to HDMI converter, or optical cable, however this TV has a beautiful clear picture and once hooked up is quite easy to navigate.
I finally upgraded to the 4K experience and I'm a little disappointed. The picture is nice, but there are no backlights. The remote is slow to respond even compared to Roku, the WebOS is clunky, and if you turn off the TV by accident be prepared to wait 3-5 minutes to get back where you were. I have never cussed so much in my life trying to get back to an angry toddler's cartoon.
The picture, when I get it to come on, is beautiful. I’ve been working on it for two days now trying to get it hook up to the internet. It simply won’t do it no matter how I try. Try to get it to update takes forever.
Set up for two days and its issues make me want to turn it off. Volume for ads, commercials jumps to an intensely loud volume, adjust it down only to have what you are watching to come back on so low that you must adjust the volume up to hear, it is a repetitive repeat. Remote lags as not coordinated for tv and its functions... does not have a user friendly flow to the buttons- lags/jumps around and does as it wishes when its ready- a mind of its own. Credit that the volume and channel buttons are good. Makes trying to watch it an unnerving nightmare.
