The price was excellent...paid $468 for the 55uj6200...wasent crazy about the picture at first...almost returned it...just went on YouTube and got all the right settings from others who have purchased this tv and it is now amazing...regular tv is beautiful and 1080 content on Netflix etc... Is outstanding...my brother got the comparable tv from Samsung...not nearly as good...just get the adjustments right...and u will be a happy camper...
My husband and I had just purchased this TV, it has been about a week since we had gotten it. We absolutely love it. It is easy to use because of the simple remote that comes with it and you can personalize everything to make it easy for non-tech savvy individuals. The set up is super simple if you read the screens when you are first setting it up. Love it!
This by far has to be a little more than an entry level TV, The Clarity, 4K, HDR make the picture quality amazing, yes it's not a high end tv but for what it's worth it's def a no brainer. Xbox one S looks fantastic on it and Netflix 4K is so clear and life like!
I bought this TV a month back and have no complaints whatsoever. web OS 3.5 is light and responsive. Amazon, Netflix and Youtube works without any glitches. Very easy to setup. Just took 5 minutes. Perfect for gaming. Has 3 HDMI's and 2 USB ports. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I didn't realize this was a "smart" tv. My problem was two-fold. First Comcast said I could hook up the equipment, no problem.....wrong. I wound up spending two hours on the phone with a Comcast tech, then an LG tech, then another Comcast tech before I could get a signal. Very typical these days. The LG tv works fine for now.
I'll give it 4 stars because for years this tv has been reliable . I got it in 2018 and today Jan.6 2024 i come home after getting off early from work thinking imma just hop in the game. But the screen is black , no picture just sound . In its defense i did see 4 bulb like shapes glaring from the other side of the screen so i guess you can say i seen it coming . I Will say my Sharp Tv which i got in 2017 when 4k just became affordable, is going well and strong . Thank you LG , 7 years is more than long enough life span for a Smart Tv.
I bought this TV on black Friday. After about 3 weeks of use the WiFi card constantly drops all connections. After reviewing the menu, no WiFi connections can be found. A forced power cycle, unplug and plug back in, fixes the issue. Happening more and more, contacted support and waiting on a service tech. Will up the review once issue has been addressed. After a week of buying this tv and handing a terrible and embarrassing thanksgiving the tv started to have a black screen. It only happened when I lowered the volume. It would get stuck turn off try to reprogram itself and get stuck on a black screen. Nothing worked until you manually unplugged it from the outlet. After I purchased a new one online a different brand and was at the store to pick up I seen another customer returning the same exact tv.
The picture quality on this TV is okay, but there is one concern that I have and that is the BLACKS ARE NOT BLACK. I noticed that when the picture area turns black (with the TV on) you can clearly see light patches of white cloud formations throughout the screen. Really sucks. When you have a TV that has TRUE BLACKS it definitely enhances the colors. I have a cheap Panasonic TV which the blacks are solid blacks.
I bought this TV just 20 days back and it is already started dropping network frequently and every time i have to turn TV off and turn it on again to fix issue. Picture quality and features are good but it doesnt support dual language movies. I never had such problem with my previous TV. LG should seriously provide some solution. As they mentioned on there website this might happen due to physical radio waves interference but they why it doesnt happen with Other brands ? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
