Order this online and when we got it out of the box there was a crack in the screen. We immediately called our local Walmart and the customer service rep reassured us that it would be exchanged and had another one in store waiting for us to pick up. Great picture, so easy to use with our phones. Liked it so much we bought another one in the 55 inch for our son.
Purchased this t.v. on 11/13/17 Picture quality is crystal clear, refresh rate is way better than the old tv we had. Sometimes have to look away during scenes of movies or shows due to not being used to how fast everything moves compared to our 10 year old flat screen. Highly recommended if you have the opportunity to upgrade
The image is great, sounds great, and was marked down at a great price.
Fantastic color and vibrance. Very happy with this TV after two years of ownership.
Got it 11/24/17 and so far love it. The one part I would suggest I do not like is the myth of the TM120 refresh rate. It is actually only 60hz, but it seems everyone does it, and it's all pre and post fill. The color is good, and the clarity is very good. It's not a $5,000 TV so don't expect HDR type color contrasts, or the sound that comes with them. On that same note, the speakers that come built in are very good and clear, and LOUD. I'm only able to turn it up to about 40-45% of the volume, and it is clear and crisp. Setup is simple stupid, and very quick. The remote is very clearly printed, well laid out, and I love the fact it has a dedicated Amazon Button. Netflix users will appreciate their own dedicated button, but that's nothing new. A major failing of the TV is the accompanying documentation. It would be helpful if there was a visual panel layout. Other explanations of functions and menu configs would also be a nice to have.
We've had it a few years and it's always disconnecting from the wifi and won't reconnect I have to keep trying over and over again it's so frustrating. We bought this tv with our little savings and don't have money for another TV sometimes we have to just shut it off cause it won't connect and we use it for Netflix so if it won't connect then it's pointless some times. Sad it was so expensive and looked nice at first
We have had this tb since 2018, and it's always had wifi issues. But as of the past year it constantly drops the wifi, and says wifi is not available or wifi is turned off. We have never had an issue with our wifi boxes, but since Rodgers bought out shaw our TV has decided to throw wobbles and not connect to the wifi, I doubt this is a Rodgers issue but an LG issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed this TV but there have been some frustrations. First, the picture is great and I like the access to the streaming services though I wish I could add new services. I have regularly had issues with the sound when using a receiver. For the longest time I thought it was the receiver and finally spent good money on a higher end receiver. Turned out it wasn't the receiver, it was the TV. I have since replaced the receiver with a Sonos sound bar and occasionally still have the same problem. The Wi-Fi takes a long time to connect and then it will drop occasionally and you have to reboot the service; if you can use a wired ethernet. Finally, It has suddenly lost a vertical row of pixels so i have a line going through the middle of the screen from top to bottom. While not such a problem I can't watch shows, it is a little annoying and I would have hoped to get a few more years out of this TV. So, based on my overall experience I can't say I wouldn't buy an LG again but also can't say they have won me over to be brand loyal.
Very nice TV but not as good of a picture as I was expecting from a 4K UHD TV. Maybe I'm missing a setting?
We cannot get the wifi to even turn on now. Looks we will be buying another tv soon. Never buying an lg tv ever again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
