The picture is superb. The screen is very thin and most of the weight is at the bottom. Im not a big fan of the stand but if youre wall mounting its no concern. 4K content looks amazing. The speakers sound good but my favorite features are the remote with mouse scroll and the LG software. The menus are intuitive and once connected to the net you get a ton of content for free! Im able to watch well over 300 internet channels provided by the TV. There are plenty of ports for connecting devices. It works well with Alexa or Google assistant. I bought this specifically for the PS5 and the pair look great together.
I love the quality of the picture. My 10 year old 42 inch Panasonic looks nothing like this. From closed box I had the TV up and running 1 hour 30 minutes with no help. I could do it again in 45 minutes. Setup is easy with on screen directions. I do not like the remote to small and awkward for big hands. The screen is really thin like having a gigantic laptop.
Great TV! OLED and 4K provide amazing picture. Setup and LG navigation are super easy to to work with. Size fit perfectly into our space (1/4 inch to spare). This is our 2nd LG, they earned the top spot for TV in our book
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago as a replacement for an old 52” Sony LCD I've had for 15 years. What a difference!
the color is stunning. good size TV. It has HDMI ports, a magic remote. I wish it had ports for the 6 color HD cables but that's not a dealbreaker in the end. Happy with purchase.
The quality of picture and sound is amazing. Same quality of picture when you look at it sideways. Doesn't blacken out. Happy we waited, the price went down and the TV got better.
Great tv, exceptional picture, good sound. Not a big fan of the remote. I don't care for the "mouse-like" pointer - I prefer to use the arrows. My biggest complaint was that before it was delivered, I received a text saying it was on its way and that a signature would be required. I was happy to hear this, because I didn't want it sitting outside. However, next thing I knew, I got a text saying it HAD been delivered. It was left in my driveway in below freezing temperatures. Not sure how long it had been there.
This TV is a replacement for a 9 year old LG LCD TV. I bought it because of the OLED technology and the high reviews on Consumer Reports. The picture is better than the 9 year old TV but not as much as I would have thought for the OLED technology and the review in consumer reports (I did use the optimized settings suggested by Consumer Reports). The TV setup was definitely clunky, and most of the explanations were in Korean English, and documentation on the web was not helpful. It was difficult to find out how to access all the settings. The only other smart TV technology I can compare to is a firestick. The web browser on both the firestick and the LG are both very clunky, with maybe the WebOS on the LG being a little bit better. There are a lot more apps available on the firestick as compared to the LG. Of most note, neither HBOmax or ShowtimeAnytime work on the LG - the first is not available, and the second didnt work (may have been an issue with our TV provider). Slingbox didnt work either. The Magic remote was difficult to set up - many people have reported issues with getting the Magic remote to change channels using the Xfinity X1 platform, and we finally got it to work - the Magic remote needs a much more direct line of sight to the TV box to work. The guide is not very good and I still need BOTH remotes. The AirPlay app turned out to be the best way to watch HBOmax and MLBtv, but it would stop connecting periodically and give a content not available message. So, I still have to plug a laptop into the computer to make it work. Thanks for nothing LG. Next time I will buy a $300 UHD TV. It will probably be just as good.
The TV model looks slim and sleek, but the delivery of the TV was so poor. We received with broken screen, when plugged in only lines are seen. The package itself is damaged. Walmart mentioned that they are going to send a replacement. Hoping to get that replacement TV in good condition. Total disappointment with the carrier who handles the delivery. Recommend Walmart to chose a proper delivery carrier to ensure that the customers receive the products in usable condition. Thank you.
We wanted a crisp, bright picture, and this TV meets those goals. But the interface is so hard to use that I want to return it. LG doesn't have all the apps we use, so we are still using our Roku. The LG app store doesn't auto update the apps, so when you want to use an app, you are prompted to update it first. The "magic mouse" is like trying to type with a light saber, and I am no Luke Skywalker.
