After searching for a new TV, we decided to purchase the 65 inch LG one. I am so glad we did. I am utterly shocked at how crisp & clear the picture is. It is heavy but not bulky Infact it's sleek design was one of the many features that made us purchase it. The sound is superb and great for my hard of hearing husband. It's easy to navigate and has loads of built in apps. The remote is light and a very sleek design. I was impressed with the attention to detail behind the screen. It has a place for the wires to hide and not drag or hang behind so it's seen underneath the screen, a simple solution on a modern TV. I would definitely recommend if your looking to make a new purchase!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is incredibly thin so it is very sleek and smart, not at all bulky. Which is perfect for a family home. The picture quality is amazing, it is so crisp and clear thanks to the Quantam Dot Nanocell technology! The excellent picture quality and the size of this screen make it feel completely immersive so whether you are watching a movie or playing a video game you can just allow yourself to truly feel and be in the moment! The only downside to the picture quality is that I do feel the screen is a bit reflective so there can be a bit of glare - not an issue here thanks to our thick, heavy curtains, but for some this could be an issue. I felt that the audio was fine, but my husband felt it was lacking a bit. I found the built in WebOS to be very helpful and convenient as it allows us to easily navigate through our streaming services as well as a range of apps. The remote is a nice shape & size, fitting comfortably in the hand. The remote has voice command and also shortcut buttons to the most popular streaming services. All in all, I do love this. Although I definitely get the least use out of it than anyone else in the house!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the images on this TV is simply amazing. We had upgraded from a smaller but smart TV and the difference is mind blowing. The set up is easy, changing streaming devices is one button, and the hdmi input for a session of gaming is beyond simple. This is truly state of the art, the speed, the graphics, the ease of use. It is a truly luxurious product!
We were really not impressed with our previous TV, we bought too cheaply and the picture quality was just shocking. Going from a 55 inch to 75 inch is a big change but gosh is it an experience. You feel as if you're actually inside of the programs, the picture quality is just out of this world stunning. There are never any issues of the screen being too dark, or the colours not looking right, it's clear and crisp and so worth the money. We're really impressed and even friends and family who have come to take a look say it's incredible. We look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.
We decided to get this TV because we had an LG before just a lot smaller and so wanted to see if the picture quality would stay the same when the screen size got considerablly bigger. Well I can happily say that the picture quality is even better than we expected and is absolutely amazing to watch and lets face it this is the reason why we want to buy a good TV right! The pre-built in picture settings are excellent and being able to easily switch between them for different viewings is a great feature, the quality doesn't change when you go from standard TV to live sport or to a movie on the different settings and the details you can see are incredible. Going back to unboxing the TV the first thing I noticed was the TV seemed even thinner than I remembered from the shop but obviously due to the size of it you definitely need 2 peoiple to unbox it and get it into position. The actual setting up of the TV took a matter of minutes with the easy to follow process upon turning it on for the first time so even technophobes will be able to get this set up and running in no time. The sound quality is equally as good and as we do not have a sound bar this was an important feature, although with the quality of the TV it is making us think about getting an LG sound bar to go with it. Overall we are extrememly happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I thought going from a 50 inch to 75 was absolutely silly but after having the tv for around a month now, I think it's truly brilliant and I can really understand why people spend so much on tvs now. The quality is exceptional, and really blows my mind.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV with amazing picture and sound quality. Super easy to set up and has all the latest tech already installed so no having to mess about with sky boxes or similar. Despite this being a huge screen size you don't lose out on any of the picture quality. I purchased the TV so I could watch the Euros on it and have to say I was not disappointed with the overall experience. Best TV I have ever owned!
Nightmare to set up vision settings. Far too many obtuse settings with no meaningful description of use. Disappointed with viewing during day-time. Brilliance permanently seems set at 100% Picture quality becomes evident when watching evenings or with the curtains closed. Sound quality is good. Would really, really like to get rid of the annoying on-screen pointer feature.
This new for 2024 QNED80 model comes with webOS 24 which unfortunately seems to have a severe UI performance issue - bringing up the guide or settings results in a spinning cursor for quite a few seconds before it appears. Simply going up or down the menu with the remote control is also sluggish. I also have the previous 2023 QNED75 model with webOS 23 and that works perfectly fine so it seems there is a software issue with the latest webOS 24. Hopefully this can be fixed but at the moment I can only give 3 stars - picture quality and app compatilibilty is good but the TV is painful too use - in fact I would recommend looking at the 2023 model instead of this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not impressed. Set frequently stops to announce “this app will now update to free up memory”. Tinned Wimbledon tennis and impossible when watching detective procedural shows. Or anything for that matter.
