LG 65" Class 4K UHDTV (2160p) Smart OLED TV (OLED65C6P)

I bought it for Christmas 2016 after researching many different brands/tvs. 9 months later I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The pic is great. OLED by far was the way to go. Getting the 3D with the curved was screen was just an added bonus over the flat version. I have really no complaints about this tv. I wish I had another for my bedroom. I finally made the jump from plasma and LCD to OLED and I have been extremely happy with the results. The picture is brighter and more lifelike than anything else (regardless of typed of technology) I have ever seen. The curved screen and 3D capability also makes for a great experience. I bought this TV (on 11/2016) because it had the best picture of any TV I looked at and my online research told me the video critics agreed. I also got a great price at Best Buy. The picture is simply stunning and is brighter than previous LG Oleds. I got the curved screen because it was the same price as the flat screen version but has added 3D capability. Also the curved screen is very gentle/subtle so you don't notice it when you are in front of the TV. From the side it is definitely more noticeable but my viewing room isn't set up for that anyway. This is my second 65" OLED set from LG. This is as good as it gets. The biggest thing about the set is it is 3D compatible, this years models (2017) and following years models are and will not. Because of this, you will not be able to find a discount on this model. It is full original retail now, simply because of the 3D capability. So, the 2017's are actually cheaper with slightly better picture but no 3D. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The picture is excellent rite out of the box ! You can't go wrong with this set it's the best I've ever seen ! I bought this set for the 3D and its amazing put on the glasses and enjoy even the 2D to 3D is really good ! The only thing that needs improvmen Is the owners manual that is no help at all. Good TV, I had some problems with WIFI interence. Problem was resolved when I moved a surge protector/power strip away from base of TV near input connections. Apparently, my surge protector was emitting an RF wave that was interfering with the WIFI reception. Great TV WIFI reception now. Great TV, I have had it since August 2017.

I love movies and I've always tried to have the best display technology to enjoy them. However, I have to say that I am very, very impressed by the picture delivered by my new 4k LG OLEDC6P. The picture resolution, the brightness, the color range and the reduction in motion blur (when I use optimized picture settings for the program material) are stunning. When I have the picture settings optimized for the 4k program source I'm viewing, it is like a window view into the real world. The remote control and user interface are very well-designed, too - they provide an easy, intuitive control experience with the TV. I love this TV...it is, hands down, the best TV I have ever owned. My late husband bought this tv through Amazon in September 2016. I began having issues with the screen having lines in it so I contacted a local LG service provider who inspected the TV and said that the panel was bad and that this was a common issue with this particular brand. It will cost around $4 grand to fix!!!! I contacted LG hoping they would help fix this, gave them all of the required information, including pictures and have never heard anything back from them. This television was $2500 and should last longer than 3 years!!!
