I had a 65” OLED before this tv and wanted to go bigger without the cost that a 77” OLED would entail. Tbh I was not expecting much from the QNED coming from an OLED but to say I have been surprised is an understatement. Even though the TV uses an IPS screen which is generally shunned upon if you read online AV sites the contrast is fantastic. Blacks are black and the colours are bright and vivid. Tbh I actually prefer the way the QNED looks to the OLED I had before. My only real downsides to this TV are that only 2 of the hdmi ports are 2.1 spec why ? They should all be 2.1 in 2022 and the reflections are pretty bad. If you have a bright room or windows in front of the TV you will see a lot of reflections. It's a fantastic tv with a genuinely impressive picture quality.
I purchased this tv last September in a 65” version As a retirement present to my self replacing an Panasonic hd ready projector. Whilst I would have loved to get a OLED they were out of my price range. I'm more than happy with the picture quality sometimes I'm quite stunned by it.
Purchased a month ago and I am over the moon with this TV. Picture, Sound, Quality are fantastic, can't fault it, deluvers great smooth pictures fir sport, excellent HDR coding and the size is just perfect, even when the room is bright from the daylight seeping in through the windows, the colours and picture pops!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is fantastic it's so easy to set up from attaching the stand to setting up Quality of picture is out of this world with a1 colour abs sound really feels like in a cinema this is definitely the future I'd tv as a highly recommend brand for reliability and quality always The edge around the tv is that thin hardly visable it's smart liking and would highly recommend this to anyone after a quality 65” tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been testing my QNED91 over the past days and the first word that comes to my mind is WOW! I have upgraded from 40 to 75in and I must admit that at first the QNED seemed massive but after a short while we got used to the size. We have had the TV wall mounted – due to its size and weight, I would definitely suggest having 2 people to install. Although it is big but also slim and sleek so it does look good on the wall. The power cord could have been a little bit longer as we have to use an extension socket. We have used a basic tilt TV bracket which was easy to fix to the TV's universal fixing holes. The initial set up was extremely simple. Installing additional programs, like YouTube or logging in to streaming platforms was easy too – there was no need to type passwords; I just needed to scan QR code within the app to connect it to my account, simple! As I have already had an LG ThinQ app to control my washing machine, I have just added the TV to it, meaning that I can now use my mobile phone as a remote if needed and also with two clicks on my phone I can view and play any content of my phone to the TV. The remote itself is very small and simplified. In addition to the standard buttons, there is a point and scroll button and are also hotkeys dedicated to the main streaming platforms so with a press of one button you can open these directly. As for the picture quality – this is amazing – especially when watching any 4K content. For sure, LG didn't lie when they have mentioned the nearly-perfect black. All colours are so vivid, bright and crisp; the contrast is just perfect and the picture is very sharp. You can look at the TV from any possible angle and the quality of the picture is the same. With different picture modes to choose from, whatever you watch, it will be perfectly optimised. We have tried the standard and filmmaker modes as well as sports (husband is well impressed) and the game optimised mode for use with PS5 which made the game look a lot more realistic. The modes are well defined and so far I did not feel I needed to make any adjustments. The quality of the sound with Dolby Atmos is amazing too. Again, with various modes for sound, whatever you listen to will sound great. Another great feature is that I can connect my Bluetooth headphones wirelessly to the TV. I am well happy with my purchase and I would recommend this TV especially to someone who values good quality picture and sound and also lov
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted an LG TV ever since they became the market leaders, but was swayed towards my old TV last time due to mainly price but also due to the interaction between other devices I own. Whilst my old TV has been an excellent workhorse for the last 3 years, this TV blows it out of the water, not only on picture quality, which is amazingly bright and crisp, but the software is so intelligent and interactive. The sound is also a lot better than unexpected considering it's so thin I would have expected the sound to be compromised, but its rich with a decent amount of base. That said i would still reccomend an external sound bar, I was able to connect mine really easily via bluetooth, and also my headphones. The whole menu is very intuitive and feels really high end, as does the smart remote. I've played around with most settings, but to be honest you dont have to as the Automatic option adapts to what ever you are watching to make sure you are always getting the best picture. I'm sure there are technical boffins out there who will say the blacks could be blacker and wax lyrical about the specs, but I cant find fault with the TV at all, and having compared it with similar priced comoetitors models owned by friends I would definitely choose the LG based on not only picture quality, but the overall experience of the TV. I think the price is about right for a flagship model, but comparing it against cheaper LG models there does seem to bevbetter value options out there which offer equally good picture quality, but if you're a techno geek like me I think it's worth the investment for the extra bells and whistles, and the TV should be future proof for quite some time as 8k seems a long way off becoming mainstream.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally, I lived to see it. I was very excited when I saw him still in the box. Just unpacking and hanging on the wall took me literally a few minutes. Connection to all devices is incredibly easy and transparent. everything perfectly described. The first start-up and setting it up to my requirements was very simple and quick. The menu is very easy to use. Impressions after the first few days of use are amazing. Perfect image and even better. The number of applications is impressive. I keep discovering something new. The possibilities of this TV set are probably endless. I recommend it in 120%
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression upon arrival was the size of the box it was huge! Tv was very well packaged and I couldn't wait to take it out the box and set it up. Once out the box the 65inch tv looked great in my lounge on tv stand and got to mention very sturdy too. The initial set up was very quick and easy done in less than 15 minutes. Been using it for a month now and I am very impressed with it. The image quality is just outstanding, picture is very clear and colours are sharp. Watching nature programs on this tv just brings it to life. Sound quality is good although I will be using tv surround sound system with it but that is just personal choice. Smart platform is excellent and easy to navigate. It comes with a lot of useful apps already pre-installed with ability to install more. I am still finding and learning new things to this day which is great. I would defiantly recommend this tv to anyone it is great quality and has everything you need if not more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this LG 65QNED91 for a few weeks now as a TV in our main bedroom and I love it! I was worried about the wall mounting, with the house being a new build but it was really easy to mount on the wall with 2 people and sits much closer to the wall than our downstairs TV. One of the first things we've noticed since using this TV is the super clear picture and really amazing colours. This is all thanks to LG's 4K ultra HD and their quantum dot nanocell technology which really provides great vibrancy to the colours on our screen. As I mentioned the TV is base on the wall in our bedroom, and another real positive for me is the wide viewing angles; having young children I have noticed I can see the screen anywhere in the room, for example even when sitting on the floor playing with my baby, I still have a great view of the screen. The LG QNED also comes with webOS smart platform, I have found this really easy to navigate and promote easy use of the TV and switching between apps. The one downside that I have noticed is that there still is some LED bleed compared to our OLED, meaning that there isn't quite true blacks on the screen, however I don't feel that this takes away from the viewing experience. Overall I would highly recommend this TV, and feel it would be difficult to beat in this price/size range. I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this TV is meant to be an “upgrade” to my 2019 65” TV made by a Japanese competitor. Yes the size is fantastic, but I just feel the colours and image quality do not compare. Dark scenes are usually always cloudy, a bit like light bleed and I'm finding myself having to change picture mode depending on what I'm watching. I shouldn't need to do this with a TV made these days at this price point. I definitely wouldn't buy this TV at the RRP price, I do not think it's worth it. After a week of using it, we've decided that we will not continue using this TV and will revert back to our previous one. We will miss the size but certainly will not miss the quality. If you've not had a flagship TV, this LG TV may be perfect for you but for us, it just doesn't quite cut it.
