LG 65" OLED B5 Series 4K UHD OLED AI Smart webOS 25 TV, OLED65B5PUA

OK it's my first Smart TV, it took half a day to get around two things that stomped me first was of tuning off subtitles and second how to get back the folders in my 4TB HDD. So All's great, just love the picture way better than the 18" I've been watching for 16 years.

I couldn't believe how great the picture is, a whole new viewing experience! Very easy to navigate, no problems at all!

We just got this TV and it is the first one of this quality we have ever owned after a cheap no-name Android TV in the past. The difference is amazing. The colours are vibrant, the contrast and sound excellent, and the dark and black are truly amazing. It has a quality feel to it, and we love the Magic Remote and the webOS interface is easy to use. We also appreciate being able to search apps like YouTube using our voice too. So much easier than typing in search terms. All in all, excellent quality and value for the price, and mirroring from Windows 11 with Windows + K is so much faster than casting from Google Chrome! Almost no noticeable lag, and can even play games using Mirroring. I'm impressed.

The performance is smooth and responsive, with seamless transitions between apps, menus, and the homepage. The OLED panel delivers stunning colours and deep contrast, making it a huge upgrade from an LCD TV. Sharpness and resolution are excellent, allowing high-definition content to look crisp and detailed. Brightness is also impressive, performing well even in well-lit rooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first OLED and really impressed with the picture and sound. I have added an LG soundbar but to be honest the speakers in this tv are the best I've heard. Soundbar is nice however for the Atmos experience. Great TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to buy this to replace an old 27" LG Ultragear monitor as I'm avid flight simmer. OLED gaming monitors are just ridiculous money, especially something as big as this so thought, TV it is. Pretty plug and play with some minor set up, no need to connect to the interwebs either. Also got my PS5 hooked up with the TV taking full advantage of VRR and 120hz refresh. Just make sure you get decent certified HDMI 2.1 cables, a lot of fakes out there. The TV has auto power saving so dims the screen if not touched for a bit, useful when staring at blue sky for a couple of hours. TV is a breeze to use, and the menu is much snappier than the equivalent Samsung smart TVs. The picture is sharp and in a smaller room, the HDR quality pops. Not really delved into any of the AI upscaling malarkey as I'm mainly using it as a PC monitor. All in all, highly recommended. 👍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a minor annoyance, that when you switch the set on, it goes to its homepage, rather than going to the last selected source. Also, the picture generated from aerial inputs is disappointing, though using streaming services to show the same content gives a much better picture. I haven't gone through the whole user manual, so there may be a way to tell the AI to improve the off air picture, and upscale it to UHD, but I have not found any such setting. So, off-air programs are fuzzier than streaming ones, or those injected via the HDMI port, making it difficult to read any small text being shown. The sound is good, and will go very loud if you so desire. Very deep sounds positively shake the room!

We are delighted with our new LG TV. Fantastic picture with vibrant colours, far better than our old TV. Lots more Smart features which are easy to navigate. Our only negative were the feet, too far apart, we changed these for a centre stand.
