I had the LG OLED 65” which has been promoted to the bedroom, I was looking at 75 & 85 inch TVs that would be future ready and I'm glad I went with this beauty, it lights up my room and feels like a cinema with the surround sound from Bose
After Losing my last TV to a Dog vs on screen squirrel altercation at the start of Lockdown I had been on the look out for something to take my viewing experience to the next level. This TV is packed with great features and is really intuitive. The "magic remote" pointer is exceptional and it makes connecting to all of your different on demand services a breeze. Picture quality is incredibly sharp and the viewing angle is great which is important as we have a large room. This isn't a "cheap" TV but in terms of bang for your buck it is definitely worth the investment. Needless to say this one will be being wall mounted!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Qned TV was boxed well and unpacking it was easy. The build quality of the TV is excellent and it feels sturdy. The stand of the TV looks good with the nice curve on it making it fell high end. We will be hanging it on the wall in the next few weeks. Operating the TV is fast and easy with the magic remote. It really makes inputting text a breeze. It's very handy when setting up you inputting usernames and passwords for the various smart apps. Speaking of which the selection of Apps is great. The usual catch-up TV apps are available aswell as Netflix, Apple TV+ etc. when launching an app they automatically choose the best Picture settings. E.g HDR. This is probably one of my favourite features. Picture Quality - Picture quality is very good overall. Standard Definition looks just OK. 4k looks great and 8K is outstanding. However the only 8k content I had access to was on YouTube and it was limited. Sound Quality - sound is pretty good AI pro does a good job here but it can sometimes be a hard to hear some content. Overall it is a phenomenal TV, however I also own an LG C1 65 inch OLED TV and when comparing to the Qned, the OLED wins on picture quality. The blacks are deeper and the colours feel more accurate. Unless you need the 8K, I'd go for the cheaper LG OLED G1.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an upgrade from a 55'' to a 75'' has been great. I have to make some room for this larger screen but so far is great. Managed to use the Cinema option for movies and is great as the Game optimiser as well. Of course for high graphics perhaps you play in the monitor it will be better but for the F1 and other games like that is all good. You still can see a few lights when playing something black on the back but the AI Sounds makes for it, as adjust according what your are watching. Definitely more than happy with the TV so far, great option for Saturday nights with family and friends.
I bought this TV through insiders. Once delivered everything went very smooth. Unpacking was super easy...just pull the box up. I had it wall mounted... again no problems whatsoever (I used standard wall bracket). We had to calibrate colours straight away (took us about 2 hours) as they look a bit off. I wish all the tv's had a settings for natural colours. The red was far too much for us. Other than that I think this TV is brilliant. Has a lot smart features like talking to your remote control and the TV will do it for you just like OK Google. Will turn your other boxes on automatically....and the list goes on and on. This TV is very responsive when it comes to apps. Good quality picture, nice size and good features. I would recommend this TV to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 75QNED99 is an incredible TV. The panel itself is thin and relatively light for the size. The initial setup is simple and straight forward and the first use blows you away. We wanted to see 8K in all it's glory and went to YouTube to find some 8K content, because your streaming 8K content I really do recommend a wired connection for the TV and with the wired connection and the high end processor we haven't experienced a loading screen or a delay at any point. The screen quality is just incredible, the colours and vivid and bright, the pixels seem non-existent, even standing close up and the contrast and blacks are just incredibly sharp, I'm really struggling to find any negative with this TV apart from the power cable being too short. That aside this TV is the dream. The 8K content has depth and despite it not being 3D, you feel like you could touch the animals or eat the food that comes on the screen. The frame of the TV is tiny and seems non-existent during use and the fact it's low energy too makes this a real winner. We absolutely love the TV and couldn't be happier to have it setup in our living room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 75QNED99 is definitely a huge upgrade from our previous tv. We upgraded from a 65” TV and I was really shocked when compared them side by side, the 75” really does make a big difference. So unless wall mounted, make sure you have a big enough tv stand to support this giant. I was sceptical of 8k televisions since there isn't a lot of native 8k content out there but this TV does an amazing job at upscaling, always providing a crystal clear image. It also offers great sound quality with the AI Sound Pro settings turned on, making action movies and games more immersive. Speaking of games, thanks to the high refresh rate and vivid colours, this LG TV helps tremendously with making games feel more lively and fluid. Not to mention the brilliant game optimiser which helps reduce latency and allows users to change various settings such as black/white stabilisers. The only thing which left me wanting a little bit more was the contrast, however there are many settings and smart picture modes allowing even the pickiest of users to find the right settings for themselves.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been tricky to make room for such a big tv in our living room but it's finally installed. Due to its size, 3 people are recommended for the unboxing if you want to go safe and it'll take a good half an hour to take it out the box and assemble the stand. The picture quality is great though I was expecting a bit more considering the RRP of this TV as I can't really see much difference compare to LG OLED I got last year which is 3 times cheaper. I have found myself changing mode more often than I would have liked due to the struggle with the display of dark colours, especially black. I also think its potential is a bit underused since there is very few little content available in 8K to be able to put it to a test. The good thing though is now we can watch it from anywhere in the living room! Pretty much the same feelings with the sound quality as I miss a bit more of power on the bass side so the cinema experience is not really complete without a sound bar. Overall is a good product but considering the RRP it could do better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi all. Having unboxed and set up my new tv I turned it on to find a verity of easily accessible options on apps. Very good idea to have the remote as a pointer, but frustrating that when you move off the screen, it reruns slightly offset from where your pointing the remote! The tv stacks up well against other leading big boys of the tv world, although I'm not quite convinced that the price reflects with what you get. My hope was that this tv was better than my current 65” led tv as its two years newer, but I'm not so sure it really is! 8k really isn't an option to watch on it at present but from the 4k programmes I've watched, I'd be clear 'it's great quality'. That said, I wish I could make more use of the artwork displayed as a screen saver. If I could only select a picture I like and It stayed on for longer, I would be pretty happy! All in all this is a great TV but a little bit too expensive in my opinion. I'd say there are similar TV's out there and I wish I'd gone for the larger size. I am happy with it but as a critic I'm really going to be hard to fully satisfy! Overall a strong tv but the stands a little wobbly! Would I buy again? Yes! I'll give it a bit more time and come back with a further update for you all! Thanks
Exactly 24 months after purchase, the panel is irreparably defective. total damage. For the money and LG, it's an indictment
