LG DLE8400BE 7.3 Cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Rear Control Matte Black Electric Dryer

This dryer makes noises since I bought it on and off. Then the noise goes away and later returns. The dryer doesn't work as good as my previous LG dryer that was about 12 years old. I wish I kept my old LG dryer. I only replaced both because my washer was broken.

Control Panel is so dim that I am having to make labels so that we know what cycle to choose from. I've bought new lighting, turned off the lighting in the room; nothing helped it's just too dim. Dries very well but we cannot figure out what setting to put it on if we can't see the control panel. I would send back the washer and drier if they had a control panel that was printed.

while it functions For the most part I have two major issues. The folding lint filter is designed flawed for the frame where the filter folds has broken twice in a little over a year with normal use just from opening and closing the filter to clean it. My other complaint is that for me the black control panel is very difficult to read and so easily fingertip printed. I would sacrifice some bells and whistles for knobs as controls. Lg has replaced the filter twice but now that my unit is over year old the burden will fall on me in the future. The filter needs to be re-designed.

Takes forever to dry. The electronic dryness sensor constantly interferes and slows things down or stops the drying. The exhaust is simply not sufficient to push the hot air out. I have a long run to the outside but have a booster fan that has worked well over the decades. Two previous dryers had no problem with it. The booster fan is working fine and we have had the vent cleaned as well but the LG programming is just too sensitive.

This is the worst dryer we have ever owned. I regret buying it. Owned it 2( mid January -mid March) months and the heating element went out. We were told we have to have a professional vent cleaner come out first to check if that was the problem. We did that and it wasn't. LG has done nothing to rectify the problem besides string us along with promises of hearing from a dryer specialist. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Worst dryer I have ever owned and the washer that goes with it is even worse than the dryer. Nothing is ever completely dry after the first cycle AND the clothes come out VERY wrinkled. I have to iron every pair of pants that comes out of there (even dry fit comes out wrinkled) and if I didn't refuse to iron T-shirts, those would need be ironed as well. I have had this unit barely over a year. I will never purchase LG again and I'm counting down the days until I can afford to dump this and buy a new one.

This dryer has been the worst appliance I have EVER purchased—I would give it 0 stars if that was an option! I have (4) children and do multiple loads of laundry daily. This unit began twisting/ripping/tearing clothing immediately. There is a felt type seal that is defective under the lint catch that would grab small parts of clothing and damage them.

If you are looking st this dryer for use with propane, do not buy it. Contacted LG and they told me to contact installer and propane company. I did and both verified everything seemed ok with their part. Lg was no help. Don't waste your time and money on this as it does. It work with propane.

For the amount of money paid, my husband and I are extremely disappointed and upset that we can not use this dry properly. We've had it for 2 months and from day one, It will only dry on the download cycle. All other cycles presents an error message D80. We've had a professional inspect the exhaust duct and everything that pertains to the air flow. No lint or buildup at all. This dryer is the absolute worst.

This washer and dryer combination is the worse laundry product I have every used. My clothes come out of the cycles looking awful, full of hair and lint. I hate it and wish I could return both. It was very expensive and I will never purchase or recommend LG products again.
