[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dries clothes, even large loads, thoroughly and timely. Ability to download custom cycles on LG app is awesome but with so many pre-programmed settings, we have never needed to set it up. But honestly , favorite part has to be the app itself and alert function you can set that will notify you of dryer status. And since I have a smart watch synced with phone, I can be anywhere and receive alert. No more running back and forth to check dryer. Only thing is I get alerts, even when I'm not home, which totally ruins my husband's surprise of having the laundry done! :)

Great dryer replacing my very similar LG dryer. One star was deducted because with the energy save mode engaged drying time is extended. The reason is that the first 40 minuets in this mode are air dry only. The machine is set by default to the energy saver mode. The quick solution it to use the timer dry mode but that defeats the use of other useful modes. I've try to defeat this mode but despite youtube videos and others I have not been able to do accomplish this. LG can you help?
didn't even come with a power cord
Builder provided and installed. On first loading, it grinds and hums for 5 seconds and then shuts off. Repeats again in 2 minutes. Chatting with support is painfully slow. Arranged for "live talk support" and in 5 hours, have not received call. Install problem? Quality problem? Can't tell when nobody responding. Now, I am likely going to need to spend hours at home waiting for repairs. Bad first experience from the moment I opened the door.
I bought the washer and dryer combo. The washer works as charm. The dryer for a couple of months and does not work as is intended to. No, a single load has dried properly. It does not dry my clothes, even on high them and for longer cycle. I need to run it for a couple time to get is somewhat dried, which is energy consuming. I had it for a couple months now, hopping to give it a tried, but I'm sorry it is not working out for me. Ver unsatisfied with this dryer.
I bought this drier one month ago and have not been happy with the installation or the performance of the appliance. The duct was improperly installed and needed to be reinstalled. The drier shuts off before clothes are fully dry. The lint trap, the drum and inside of door must be cleaned every load and often floats out when the door is opened. I would not recommend this appliance
Dryer gets scary HOT on High setting, but towels do not get dry on Towel setting. Strange!
