Took a huge leap by going for a 77inch one, rather than a 75 inch. It's huge!! Sound - this is much better than I was expecting and you don't need a soundbar unless you want full surround sound with rear speakers. TV screen quality. It has a thing called Filmmaker mode for watching movies which is fantastic. It's exactly like being in the cinema. Screen glare and reflection - on a sunny day you do get a bit of reflection, but it's not a big deal, just shut your curtains. Ease of use. The remote is huge and has an annoying cursor which flies around the screen. Apart from that it is easy to setup The operating system. For a TV as expensive as this, one would have expected everything to be super quick, but it can be quite slow at times. This is true of all lg TVs using the webos system, but it's not a deal breaker. Summary. This is an excellent TV, which I bought at a substantial discount. Highly recommend. So much so that when I wanted a TV for my bedroom I went for another LG TV. I also found the LG website very useful too.
Nice screen though to my eye the colours were a bit garish until I went through the menus and adjusted the settings. I'm not so pleased that I had to create an account to register the warranty, I have enough online accounts already. Even on widescreen films that letterbox the video, the picture height is still enough to see the action clearly, and being OLED the unused area is true black so unobtrusive. We were pleased with our previous 55 and 65 inch LG OLED TVs but each time we updated, the experience has improved. This is now as big as we can go without removing a bookcase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this TV directly from LG. LG partners with a shipping company and delivery was smooth. Product arrived on time. The quality of this TV is incredible, useful features like split screen. The TV itself is light for its size and extremely flat. I love it honestly. I was always a Samsung guy but, there are levels to this, and LG is in a league of its own.
Just as amazing as our LG OLED B2 65" we purchased from Wal-Mart previously, but bigger! If you haven't gone OLED yet, I cannot stress enough how beautiful the picture is! We wall mounted this 77" in our open concept den with full daylight front to rear and viewing is still a pleasure.
Great TV. Although I think the extra $200 for the C3 is a better call.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the TV as an upgrade from a Sony UHD, I am very happy I did it. The picture is very vivid, most realistic TV picture I have owned. The interface is easy to use and setup was simple.
i love the size and the easiness of finding things with the remote. the sound is amazing. we were going to buy a sound bar, but we definitely don't need one.
This TV is FABULOUS! It shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. Picture quality and ease of setup were great! You cannot go wrong with this one... #sweepstakes
Both the brightness and contrast are amazing on this. The default color is a bit much, so I toned it down, but it certainly shows what this display is capable of, for sure. As amazing as the TV is, though, there's a couple things that lost a star. 1) The CPU is slow and laggy; navigating through the menus, going through apps, etc. is much slower than it should be, given the cost of this. 2) If you change the clarity settings to "Natural" or really anything other than default, it'll randomly change the settings back to default for unknown reasons, despite saving it for all inputs.
Tried to buy this Nov. 17 from walmart site. Found newer version and canceled the order before it was shipped. I talked to walmart representatives multiple times about not receiving a refund. I didn't receive the refund until Dec. 8th. It took entirely too long and only happened after opening dispute with American Express. Poor customer service on Walmarts end.
