The OLED65G4 TV is the best you find out there! If you game, watch telly, or its for your cinema room this is it! Let's start with the stand which is included this year, as for last year's G3 didn't come with this option and a couple of users complained so there you go LG listen to you, and now you have it. I personally ordered the wall mount TV option. As per the TV name G3 - "Gallery design" this TV its meant to be on the wall. I love the design, its slim, bezeless, and with the aluminium frame looks brilliant! The TV it was delivered carefully by 2 man and as usual LG packed up the TV properly to avoid damaging. Just make sure you have someone to give you a hand when unpacking, because its quite heavy. The overall improvements from last year's model are the AI picture quality, AI sound pro, brightness, the MLA booster max gen2 tells you all the difference. The native refresh rate to 120hz, PC gaming 144hz, chromecast built in, the a11 processor which helps navigate through apps much faster and the most important is introducing Filmmaker to Dolby Vision which truly gives you the cinematic experience! Now, you can have MLA panel on 83 inch too, I wish I could afford a 77 inch though or it was part of the campaign! On the other hand there are minuses of this TV which I hope LG will add in the near future. The power cord attached to TV still, you cannot run cable through walls or makes it really difficult, the MagicRemote LG made 10 years ago no improvements, bulky, noisy and no alternatives to buy a premium one from LG. The video issues with HDMI 2 port which its a shame, as LG QA team didn't notice it, but hopfully a WebOS update will sort it. The ethernet port only 10/100mbps, and the USB ports are just 2.0 though. I'm expecting 3.0 USB port, new premium backlight remote and potentially 1gbps ethernet ports for next year's G5, fingers crossed LG hear us out! This G4 TV even with the minuses mentioned its still a great TV, the picture quality its speechless and stunning from every angle! I recommend it to everyone who is after a Gallery design TV with excellent features and its worth the investment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 3 months ago.. thoroughly TESTED two different rooms .. GREAT VIEWING ANGLES.. FABULOUS PICTURE ON ALL PLATFORMS.. integrated usefulness dependent on tastes. BEST VALUE FOR THE FUTURE………..!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautiful screen. And the best picture I have ever seen. It's sleek to the wall built in bracket really made my mind up for this purchase
Having upgraded from the LG 65” OLED G3 the look and physical dimensions are exactly the same including the wall mount bracket I thought that there would be only a slight improvement boy was I wrong. From the ease of installation, a simple 5 min clip off the old and install the new a complementary free install offered by LG as part of the package the new alpha 11 processor makes quite a noticeable difference in the display processing in the standard tv mode and amazing in gaming mode on both the PlayStation and Xbox. Even during the peak of the day with the sun flooding the room the tv in full brightness mode the quality and brightness is outstanding.
Exceptional TV! I was impressed with the image quality and the specs included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took delivery of my new 65" LG G4 a week ago and I've been blown away by it so far. My previous TV was an older OLED too so I wasn't expecting such a big difference but I've found myself grinning from ear-to-ear while watching TV several times since getting this set up. The picture quality is amazing on this thing, I can see why it's widely praised as the best TV on the market. The colours are incredibly bright thanks to the MLA OLED panel, but yet so realistic, everything just seems so natural that it really engrosses you. Motion is also super smooth and even non-4k sources seem to great a sharp upgrade thanks to the clever AI upscaling. The TV itself was easy to install, I managed to get it all wall mounted with little effort thanks to the very clever mount it comes with and the very clear video tutorial - I only needed a spare pair of hands just to quickly lift the panel onto the wall. The screen sits almost completely flush to the wall, which is amazing - some very, very clever engineering must have gone on there to achieve that. Yet it's still easy to access the back whenever you need to access the cables and other ports etc. It also can't be taken for granted just how simply everything works on this set, it has all of the apps you'd ever need at your finger tips and the menus are easy to navigate through while also having all of the options that AV purists love to get their hands on. Overall I'm very, very pleased with this TV purchase and I plan to keep it for a very long time, as I genuinely can't imagine how this set could be noticeably improved upon. Bravo LG!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the LG 65 inch OLED TV (OLED65G45LW), and it has completely transformed my home entertainment setup. From its stunning picture quality to its impressive array of features, this TV is a game-changer. Picture Quality: The LG G4's 4K OLED display offers vibrant colours and deep blacks, providing unmatched contrast. The Brightness Booster MAX ensures the picture remains bright even in well-lit rooms. The α11 AI Processor 4K optimises picture quality in real-time, making every scene lifelike. Audio Performance: Sound quality is equally impressive, thanks to the 4.2-channel, 60W sound system and AI Sound Pro technology. The virtual 11.1.2 up-mix creates an immersive audio experience, and Dolby Atmos support adds depth, making movies and games sound spectacular. Gaming Features: My son is an avid gamer, and he appreciated features like Game Optimiser, FreeSync, ALLM, and HGIG, which work together to reduce lag and ensure smooth, tear-free gaming. The 120Hz refresh rate makes fast-paced games look fluid and responsive. Smart Features and Connectivity: The LG G4 is loaded with user-friendly smart features. The Magic Remote Control is intuitive and easy to use, making navigation seamless. With ample connectivity options, you can effortlessly connect all your devices. I use an AV Receiver, so I only have two cables connected to the TV (Power and 1 HDMI), allowing for hidden cables and a clean, streamlined look when mounted on the wall. HDR and Filmmaker Mode: For movie buffs like myself, HDR10, HLG, and Filmmaker Mode are fantastic additions. These features ensure you see movies as the filmmakers intended, with accurate colours and perfect picture settings, creating a personal cinema experience in your living room. Design: The TV's sleek and modern design fits seamlessly into any home decor. Its slim profile makes it an attractive addition to any room. A Small Setback: However, for a TV at this price point, it's disappointing that LG only provides a plastic remote control. When you can get a metal remote with cheaper alternatives, it's perplexing why a television costing this much wouldn't offer a similarly premium accessory. Final Thoughts: In conclusion, if you're in the market for a new TV, the LG G4 should be at the top of your list. It's a brilliant blend of cutting-edge technology and user-friendly features that will make every viewing experience unforgettable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading from an older Samsung LED to the LG 65G4 has been a revelation. The advancements in picture quality, sound, style, and features have been remarkable. Unboxing and Installation: While unboxing and wall-mounting the TV requires two people, the process is straightforward. The TV sits flush against the wall, enhancing its stylish appearance. Its picture frame mode is highly effective, and the sleek design further accentuates this feature. The app-based setup process is intuitive and smart. Performance in Bright Rooms:After rearranging our living room, the TV now sits in a brighter location. It handles bright environments effortlessly and has excellent viewing angles, ensuring everyone can enjoy the screen from any position. Picture Quality:The picture quality is outstanding. We watch a diverse range of content, and everything looks exceptional. Documentaries are lifelike, movies are immersive, cartoons and animations are vividly colored, and fast-moving sports are clear and crisp thanks to the superior motion handling. The TV has become a favorite in our household. Gaming:Gaming on this TV is a fantastic experience. With four HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR, and 120Hz support, connecting consoles and other media devices is seamless, providing the best possible quality. Our standard soundbar connected perfectly via eARC, but we might stop using it because the TV's built-in sound is impressive and the setup looks cleaner without the soundbar. User Interface and Features: The user interface is responsive and easy to navigate. The new remote is excellent, and we have enjoyed the seamless integration with Alexa and Google Cast. The TV works effortlessly with other devices and mobile phones. Overall Experience: The LG 65G4 is a perfect 10 for me. It offers amazingly bright and vibrant pictures, great punchy sound, a sleek design, and a wealth of features. The list of its capabilities goes on, and I'm sure I haven't discovered everything yet. I highly recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a number of LG OLED's over the years so feel well placed to notice the differences. This is by far the most refined LG OLED TV to date! the design is simply stunning with a minimal bezal and sleek wall mounting bracket which is nicely included in the box (I believe there are 2 versions this year a wallmount version which doesn't come with a desktop stand but an included wall bracket and a stand version which obviously includes the stand) Personally I feel the G4 is designed to be wall mounted and it looks simply stunning with all the cables neatly routed at the rear and hidden down the wall. On powering up I was able to configure the TV within a few short minutes by completing the initial setup via the ThinQ app on my mobile phone, a much better experience that entering all the details via the TV's remote control. I don't watch TV using the inbuilt tuner as I watch pretty much everything now on demand either via Sky Stream or any number of the TV's included catchup TV services. The TV was able to recognise and configure all of my connected HDMI devices (soundbar, games consoles apple tv etc) and the sound and pictures from all were impeccable! the picture is so bright, rich and colorful and required very little effort to provide what I would consider to be reference image quality. I also play a lot of games both via my PC using an RTX 4090 GPU so I was able to take advantage of the 144Hz refresh a nice added bonus over the 120Hz 2023 models. overall I'm blown away by this TV and am looking forward to many hours of movie, TV and game playing.
