LG 83" C6 Series 4K UHD OLED AI Smart webOS 26 TV, OLED83C6HUP

Had this TV for a few weeks now and am happy with the purchase. The screen is distinctly bright even in the bright living room. Unbeatable OLED with stunning blacks and contrast. Watching movies is cinematic and playing HD games is really immersive. The remote is controller is handy with an easy layout but missing a mute button (need to hold down - the volume button to mute). The voice recognition is very accurate on these models so easy to search for anything on YouTube if you hate typing. I would recommend this TV.

A TV with Great Picture Quality and Sound. After viewing the pictures in this TV, I was very impressed with the brightness, contrast, resolution & colour, it is outstanding. The viewing angle is also very friendly, can view from multiple angles. I highly recommend this TV due to the picture quality and the very sharp image as well as the dark blacks which are outstanding. Furthermore the sound feature with Dolby Atmos makes the experience very enjoyable, whether you are watching movies or playing UTUBE videos etc. A highly recommended TV for a very wide audience & all age groups. The build quality is also very good, in other words robust & solid.

Excellent brightness, colours and customisation. Always shocked by the clarity and brilliance of a OLED panel. The remote controller is my main concern. It has a few unnecessary buttons and the middle scroll wheel doesn't function beside activating the pointer feature, which could be remapped to one of the other buttons, freeing up the scroll wheel for the many menu options that could use it. The menu UI is a bit big and intrusive, sometimes slow to operate. I got this TV for a discounted price but I would happily pay full price for this. If you want beautiful picture accuracy for films and games, this is 100% the best tv for you. Also, little tip, If you really want to test this TV, find a high quality version of The Revenant, that movie is a technically perfect tech demo.

Greate TV, love the color and contrast and a good size too. It's a pitty it is let down by a poor remote, they need to rethink the decision to not have a mute button, holding down the volume button just doesn't cut it. Bought a one remote for all to replace the original remote, extra cost I didn't need but it's nice to have a full function remote.

Got 2 C5's for a good deal, have been enjoying since, breath taking picture quality. Sound could have been improved. You would definitely need to pair it with a decent soundbar. Unfortunately LG soundbars are inferior compared to other brands so will soon plan to buy one.

Our GX lasted 5 years before the processor showed signs of failure. Looked at the G5 this time, but hubby didn't want to run the risk of replacing another expensive tv too soon. We took a trip to NYC & the sales guy at the store was fabulous on key features of this tv versus the GX (way more insightful than Aussie sales pitches), so once we got home, saw that LG had too good a deal to refuse. 83" for the same price as a 77". An upgrade from our 65", & we're loving it already. Very easy to install ourselves (wall mounted). Would love to see an option for an extended warranty on these tv's (the only time we'd consider an extended warranty due to the large cost). But definitely worth it! Thanks LG!

Amazing clarity and has a slim frame that sits nice against the wall when mounted. Would have been easier to mount if I could disconnect the power cord but that is just FYI for those looking to hide the cords. Should have purchased a larger one now that I'm used to the size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely satisfied with the picture quality of the C5. The 4K upscaling of our Blu-Ray collection is exceptional. Size was a limitation and the newer 2026 model did not offer much of an upgrade over the 2025 model. An additional positive is I have been able to take advantage of the Auracast feature for consumers who are hard of hearing and have compatible hearing aids. I'm also excited about the future WebOS updates that come with this purchase. The only minor negative is there are no inputs for legacy AV components. Fortunately, my old VCR/DVD combo has an HDMI output. Very happy to add a second LG OLED TV to my home.

Refresh rate is excellent, turning on TV to main screen is a breeze and scrolling around is easy plus the AI function in the “setting” works wonder especially when auto switch from regular 4K movie to gaming. Only down side is the remote. - with the mouse pointer is easily turns on after a few swing. Better with a button to turn it ON / OFF. Backing of tv of lots of inputs which I think is a bonus.
