LG - 86" Class 82A Series QNED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025)

The 4K resolution and brightness are perfect for my smaller room, providing a clear and vibrant picture with great color and contrast. Our only disappointment was to find there is no U app, however that's the app not being compatible with webOS/25, however I believe UKTV are working on it. U live channels are available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 65" QNED TV delivers very good picture quality overall, with bright, vibrant colours and sharp detail that work well for everyday viewing, sports, and 4K content. The interface is smooth and the TV feels responsive. One downside is glare, which becomes noticeable during darker scenes, especially in rooms with lights on or daylight coming in. This can be distracting and slightly affects viewing immersion. I've also experienced an issue where the YouTube app doesn't open properly and keeps restarting; I'm yet to fully check and resolve this. Aside from these points, the TV offers good performance and value for its size and features.

Average performance. The TV set is quite bulky compared to our previous OLED model. The stand provided makes it very awkward to use as the feet are so wide apart you need a very wide support. The menus are not very intuitive. Even just updating the Apps is quite a convoluted process. When I tried to connect it to my old LG sound bar, which was not on the list of compatible sound systems, it did not work, so I just had to use a simple BlueTooth connect and find my Sound Bar, which luckily worked. The image quality was not as good as expected. The only positive thing with this TV is that it was not that expensive.
