This TV is FABULOUS! It shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. Picture quality and ease of setup were great! You cannot go wrong with this one... #sweepstakes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV's picture quality is AMAZING. Just wanted to get that out there. We all know LG's TV's are the leader in OLED technology and it seems like they're going to take up the market share on QNED/QLED as well. It's hard to describe how good a picture is, but I can noticeably tell the difference between this and our old set. The blacks are darker and the whites are brighter. The high refresh rates makes this amazing to watch sports and other high movement images without any blurriness. Movies are a no brainer. It's just so crisp. Unfortunately the only 8k content readily available is on YouTube, BUT we honestly enjoy watching random nature videos on it because of how amazing 8k looks! Can't wait for it to be mainstream. The table stand it comes with it super sleek and nice. I almost wanted to keep it on a table because of how nice they look. At the end, we did mount this and it was a bit confusing as LG makes a dedicated mount for this, but we were unable to find details on it. A normal vesa mount did work as well after a call to LG and them telling us we had to remove some screws to get access to the mounting location. The software/UI on the TV is great. It does take a bit getting used to but the "magic" remote is nice, especially for when typing in login information. For those who don't know the magic remote allows you to point and move the cursor on the screen. It's like a mouse cursor on the screen and moves around. Kind of like a Wii remote. Really neat and convenient! Overall we're in love with this TV. We hardly used our old set and this has given us a rejuvenation and makes us want to start watching TV again. Disclaimer: In exchange for my honest opinion, I received the product at a discount.
only have a great review of this tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE HAVE BEEN USING THIS TV FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND WE LOVE IT, COLOR PICTURE CLARITY
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV but internet speed is limited. While other devices' speed is 170-220 kbs, TV doesn't give you more than 50-60 kbs. Strange. I've used LG recommended DNS connection. I wish I knew about it. Overall TV is good. Can't ad block it though. No freedom there. So, welcome commercials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an LG employee who received this product at a discount from LG, and this is my honest review of the product. TV right out the box (heavy) but manageable, felt very premium. When in wallpaper setting, you do get to experience the true 8K scene but as for every streaming platform, I have still yet to experience the true 8K. Even in comparison with the OLED TVs, I was expecting a more greater change from the OLED. Even comparing my older LG TV unit from 5+years ago, image/visual is comparably similar. So to justify the price point of retail being expensive, I would have just kept using the older LG TV. For the sound experience using the Dolby Atmos, I do use the LG sound bar SP7Y, and you do get to experience the cinematic setting of a movie theater at your own home. For settings, software and user experience, due to the TV having many different features, LG should make a demo of how to use the TV in full experience. Ultimately, hopefully in the near future, more platforms would support 8K, so I can experience the whole 8K QNED MiniLED.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No way that direct inputs to this tv upscale to 8k. The only way that I can upscale is to connect my devices through a receiver and let the receiver do the up scaling. Don't understand how they claim this tv upscales everything to 8k. If you upscale through a receiver, then the picture is 8k and displayed okay. If you go to YouTube and stream 8k video previews, the picture is fantastic.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Video is great, but performance sluggish with remote, it is 8K, but ethernet is only 100BaseT, and non of USB adapter could save it, my 1GB/s network cannot get used
The screen went grey about 3 hours after I turned it on, up until then it was a great picture. The only help from LG online is take it back to a dealer for repair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried using screen mirroring from multiple phones on 2 LG TVs I have owned. It is a laggy mess that frequently disconnects. This is such simple technology that LG has failed to make work properly. Extremely disappointing.
