LG 97 Inch G5 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV with One Wall Design (2025)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 10 years of loyal service from my trusted LG OLED55B6V, I finally decided it was time to upgrade. My old TV was brilliant, but a decade of heavy use with static TV channel logos and subtitles had eventually caused some screen burn-in. ​Moving to the OLED65G64LW has been an absolute revelation. The jump from 55 to 65 inches is impressive on its own, but the sheer leap in technology over the last ten years is mind-blowing. ​The brightness levels on this G-series panel are a massive step up from my old B6—it handles room reflections effortlessly while keeping those famous, perfect OLED blacks. Knowing how much LG has advanced their built-in panel-care features, logo luminance adjustment, and anti-burn-in tech over the years gives me massive peace of mind this time around, especially for broadcast TV and subtitles. ​The design is a work of art it mounts incredibly flush to the wall, looking completely seamless and premium. The smart webOS interface is also lightning-fast compared to older generations. ​If you are hesitating to upgrade an older OLED, don't look back. This is a masterful piece of engineering and proves why LG still leads the way.

This tv has the best picture of any tv currently in the market. Operating system is on the other hand not very good.

Everything you would expect from an LG TV. The technology has really improved. Buy a sound bar. Picture at home is as good as picture in the store. Fiber optic WiFi makes all the difference.

Best picture I've ever seen on a tv. Unfortunately our grandson threw something at it and broke the screen. Loved it so much I bought another one to replace it. Pairs well with lg surround sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading to a G5 83" (from my old C9 77), I was pleasantly surprised with the improved brightness and the colors. This TV is much better OLED for a room with lots of daylight. I did find the sound a little muffled (AI Sound doesn't seem to work well for my living room). Standard settings sounded best for my room, but you should consider a soundbar or AV receiver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best TVs in the market. The color, connectivity and accessibility is amazing. It was also easy to set up and only took a under 30 mins to assemble. Been excited to always turn the TV on ever since.

Overall great products - the tv image quality and sound from sound bar js good. however the only issue is that the TV has a stand (and not to mount on the wall) which is fine, but the soundbar that comes with it doesn't have any stands. So it just lies on the floor or against the tv table which isn't ideal. It looks like the soundbar would be better for mounting under the TV on a wall. This was the only disappointing aspect as the products shouldn't be bundled together or could be made more clear.

Her and her family absolutely love it. The color is absolutely beautiful. It's easy to use. The definition is very, very high. Even the husband is very pleased and he is such a tech guru!
