Economical replacement for my old phone's battery
Appears to be a genuine LG battery that is dated May 2023, so a little over two years old, which is fine because it's for a phone that is much older, and the original battery that it is replacing (which failed) was from 2018. Have not installed or tested it yet, but assumed it should be fine.

Works just like the original. 3rd or 4th of these I have ordered from Walmart thru the 7 years I have owned this phone. Stopped using it for my phone several years ago, but continue to use it to play music on my sd card thru my home stereo. The last one had started to bulge, as lithium batteries sometimes do over time, so it was time to replace. Wish these new phones had replaceable batteries like my old LG. Was sorry to find out when I replaced this phone(due to limited onboard space for operating system), that LG no longer makes cellular phones. This phone has outlasted 3 supposedly name brand phones I have since bought. I know this review is for the battery, but it is a true LG battery they shipped, and wanted you to know background of LG phone it is used in. Fast shipping and can't beat the price. Less than $10! Wow!

Exact Battery I wanted, At a Good Price
I bought this battery from WalMart instead of brand A because even though some of the batteries on Amazon were cheaper, they had some unfavorable reviews. My new phone battery was exactly what was advertised, arrived with 50% charge, charged up to 100% in short order, and has held a charge all day. Very happy with everything!

I didn't install this..after looking at how to install it, was cheaper to get new phone..very complicated to install if you are not a phone tech
