LG BPM26 Blu-ray Player with Streaming Services

We already owned this model of Blu-ray DVD player and loved it, so we ordered another one for our other TV to replace a very old player that was rather slow. However, the main feature that we like about this LG DVD player is the CAPTION button on the remote. My wife likes to watch the old British TV series that often don't have close captioning. However, when you press this button - you get close captioning. Not sure how it works, but for my wife - it's now a necessity.

This is the second blu ray player I've purchased from Walmart and both have been in perfect condition and reasonably priced. Walmart's prices are better than local competitors' prices for comparable products.

very helpful with our movies needs

Quality items at fair price. Amazon only sold off name brands for same price. I work too hard for my money to buy a product that isn't quality

I like the picture quality and easy operation but I hate that it has wired or wireless internet as options but only operate with wired. So disappointed.

not WiFi abled must connect directly.

I bought this excited for my daughter to watch all her movies. Every 15 minutes the thing opens on its own. Even when not in use. It wont even attempt to connect to the internet after you purchase all the cables to go with. Returning it and never buying again!

This worked great for 3 months, then the Blu-rays quit playing and it will only play regular DVDs. Now it is too late to return it. It was lightly used.

This thing sucks. It lags and responds like it’s the first DVD player ever made. There are only a couple streaming apps on it, and it pauses and delays like crazy. Which is ridiculous because it has no wifi, and it’s PLUGGED IN to my router. I got less than five minutes to a movie on Netflix, and I unplugged it and put it back in the box. I’m literally repulsed that LG would manufacture such an inferior item. I can’t get to Walmart soon enough to return it.
