LG DLEX4200B 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Electric Dryer with TurboSteam and Built-In

We upgraded to this model from our 12 year old LG unit and are so glad we did. This unit washes everything MUCH faster (and larger) than our old unit and has significantly reduced how much time I spend doing laundry. I love that the unit lets me monitor how much time is left from my phone and sends alerts when each load is complete.

I purchase about a month ago. It's quiet and it cleans very well. I love the whistle at the end of the cycle. I alike receiving a message when the cycle ends. I love how the machine determines what the wash cycle will be.

I previously had a LG washer and dryer. The washer stopped working after 18 years. A good run. Bought a LG washer and dryer as replacement. I liked the old ones much better. The black doors and top show every spec of dust and finger print. My previous units were gentle on clothes. This set is not. Also, the default settings are strange in comparison. Waterproof settings mean warm to hot. Waterproof for example should be cold. Every setting option seems warmer than it should be on both units. Generally, disappointed. I was previously a huge fan of LG laundry equipment.

Love my washer and dryer but the service was impossible to use. They actually came out to fix the washer, but it was the dryer that needed to be fixed and they wouldn't touch it. I tried to get them to come back but it was just too much of a hassle. So my dryer exhaust just fills my laundry room. So disappointing.

Actually I have been waiting over 5 weeks for a call to come look at my dryer because it is not drying properly. I contacted spencer's home appliances where I purchased it from. Spencer's informed me you (LG) would reach out to me to come look at it (since it was still under warranty). I have heard nothing.
