LG DLG7151W top load matching gas dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the dryer now for 2 weeks and love it. The large capacity will hold the largest loads, and the clothes come out dry.

This dryer along with the LG washer we have are an excellent combination. I don't believe that I would ever switch brands as we have had very good luck with both. I love the dryer. Has numerous, usable features that are simple to understand. It drys very well and evenly. It's been 13 years since we have bought a new dryer and the technology has changed quite a bit, for the better. Not sure what else to say other than this is an excellent dryer any way you look at it. The wife's happy so I'm happy. Reliability is always at the top of my list and this dryer is reliable. It's quiet, senses when to shut off the our clothes never have come out wrinkled

I have now dried all types of loads in this dryer and I can't get over how quickly the dryer dries, even on permanent press. I used to have to add extra drying time, and I never need to with this machine. It is also quieter than my last machine. Excellent.

We bought this dryer in July, and it is much quieter than our previous unit. It does a great job completely drying clothes at all settings. Based on the specs, it should also be more economical. LG has also improved the lint screen filter design which is also a positive improvement since our previous model would sometimes get clothing caught on the corner of the filter.

The LG DLG7401WE 7.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Gas Dryer with EasyLoad Door delivered today does not work!

Gas valve assembly had to be replaced after owning only 30 months. Way too soon for a part that important to fail. Indicates poor quality machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had another DL dryer and it worked great. Unfortunately, this one has had problems drying small, medium and large sized loads. The dryer sensor seems to trigger it off before the clothes are dry. We have to set a manual timer to complete the cycle.

We have been loyal LG appliance customers for years. Our last washer and dryer set was LG and it was a workhorse that we had for over 12 years. Just bought a new set in February 2026. This dryer sucks. The sensor dry never and I mean NEVER dries completely even when the Very Dry option is picked. I dry the majority of my clothes on low heat. Always have. This dryer takes at least 2 and sometimes more fully drying cycles to dry. It's the absolute worst. Also it is not flexible with the sensor dry settings. Everything is preset with not flexibility, unlike my prior set. Do not buy this W&D combo, with emphasis on avoiding the dryer at all costs.

I bought this to replace a less than 2 year old model that kept throwing a D80 code with timed dry cycle. It could not fixed because sensory board backordered. Assumed with it being a newer model the bugs would have been fixed in sensory board. Wrong. This dryer was much worse. The D80 code came up and stopped dryer on every cycle. The flow sense button and clean lint filter button constantly came on. We had dryer vent cleaned out in October so knew it was not plugged. Had it removed and bought a good USA basic dryer that works great. You can keep the Smart dryers!
