LG DLGX8901B top load matching gas dryer

it's been more than 20 years replacing dryer, and this one of the easy one to operate and size are big enough to dry all my big stuff. This unit is making laundry a lot easier.

Love my dryer. With a family of 5, we needed something much larger to handle the family's laundry needs. This dryer not only dries the clothes much in a shorter amount of time but it also allows me to dry all of our comforters. I no longer need to visit the laundromat.

Unfortunately it was my negligence to not clean the filter properly causing that issue. Actually the dryer unit was all good and in perfect working condition. I apologize for that inconvenience caused. I still owe thanks to your technician and customer service teams who helped me resolve the situation.

This is an excellent machine. My one and only complaint is that the igniter switch was broken when it was delivered. The repair had to be sanctioned by LG, which took [for us - almost a month]. Once the repair was made the machine ran beautifully. It's quiet and efficient.

It works now, but it had a defective part and did not work when it was installed. Additionally, the first tech did not have the parts with them to repair the defect. It took over two weeks to complete repair after first installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 5 adults and several pets living in the house and wanted to get the biggest and most efficient machines that I could. We got the gas washer and dryer set and the stands. PROS: Capacity is very large. They wash and dry much more quickly then my old units. They look very nice. The height when on the stands is good, a little low as I need to bend down a bit to unload but it it a good height to drop everything in a laundry basket. The app notifications are super handy. It's great to know that I can go out and swap loads and not have to keep checking them. CONS: I really did not want a smart appliance, I've always felt that is just one more thing that can go wrong. The settings are not as flexible as my old unit. Once you choose a setting there are very few changes that can be made. I prefer to dry everything on a low heat setting as it is less damaging to clothes, but had to download the option. I would prefer that each of the standard settings allowed more tweaking. The app seems to be fine. But I would prefer the option to make more changes to the standard options. All in all I am happy with the units. I hope that they hold up well.

I love the size and style of this dryer. My main problem is with the sensor. It just does not get the clothes dry enough. I always have to run another cycle. I understand we're all trying to save energy but you can't make a bed with damp bedding or fold and put away damp clothes. This is even when I use the "very dry" option. And everything is so automated there is no manual function to just set it to run 15 more minutes, etc.,

I bought in September 2023. It doesn't dry the clothes well, often having to run the cycles several times. Yesterday, it burnt a bunch of clothes inside the drum. Horrible burn smell I had to throw the clothes away and the dryer smell ruined. Never had this issue beige with any dryer we owed.

I have been told on more than 20 YES 20 times someone will call and help me and NOTHING!! I have sent the information requests more than 15 times and MY NEW WASHER AND DRYER ARE STILL NOT REGISTERED!!!!
