LG Electric Washer Tower

Beautiful laundry tower has given my laundry room a colorful twist. Takes the same amount of floor space as a single machine and the controls are in the center, so very easy to access. Happy with their full capacity and excellent laundry results. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a homeowner for about 18 years now and have gone through our fair share of washers and dryers. As a mom to a pre-teen girl who plays sports and a contractor husband, we constantly have laundry. We don't just have laundry either. We have stained, muddy, greasy, and stinky laundry. THIS IS HANDS-DOWN THE BEST WASHER AND DRYER I HAVE EVER OWNED. We do roughly 10-12 loads a week and I have not been disappointed yet. I was a bit leery about purchasing LG, but after a house fire, we needed all new appliances including washer and dryers. We did our research and just kept coming back to this unit for size, price, look, and features. Upon installing it, I realized we've been missing out in life. The front load cleans like a charm and does not have that old stinky musty smell like other front loaders. I see that the rubber piece around the door actually has built in holes and I think the washer actually washes it in the cycle. The LED light is a huge plus for me too because we placed this as a built in to a small closet under our stairs, but in our bedroom so I can do a load while the husband is asleep and I don't have to turn the closet or room lights on. I'm obsessed! All this talk about the washer and I haven't even mentioned the dryer. I have never had a dryer that has dried my clothing or kept my clothing smelling this good. We've had all the big brands before and honestly, this one really works! The wrinkle function is keys to keeping my husbands tshirt collection looking awesome. Bravo LG! We purchased 2 units. One for our bedroom and one for our up stairs closet for our daughter to do her own laundry. Waiting for the husband to install that one, but for now, we've been using this for roughly 10 weeks and have been super happy!

It's been a long time coming, but we finally got this new washer/dryer unit and it is a huge improvement over our old unit - quieter, bigger drum, cheerful music at the end of the cycle. The only drawback is the dryer sometimes leaves things a bit damp, but we're still figuring out the setting.

This is an amazing piece of machinery designed with high technology and performance. Each time we use the washer and dryer the clothes come out perfect and completely dry. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for the replacement of their current washer and dryer. It even makes music when it is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first LG appliance that we have and we work it like a dog. The washing options and drying options are very plentiful. I catch the wife operating the appliance from her phone and laughing because I'm old fashioned and like to use the control panel. The machine has not had one hiccup at all and fit our application perfectly, and moving the washer to the second floor out side the master bedroom it is a very quite and solid machine, It's our new Mercedes parked up stairs.

I replaced a 12 year old stacked Frigidaire unit with this wash tower and have no regrets. I chose this unit because it had the shortest depth and largest capacity for my small closet alcove. But the feature that really sold me was the fact I could now comfortably reach all the controls without getting on tip toes! I also didn't think I would care much about the smart features but I like getting reminders on my watch when a load is done. I've owned 3 front load stacked units and I always feel like I'm making a compromise because I need to have space saving features at the expense of smaller capacity and the very likely a chance of getting the musty smell problem typical of many front load washers. This LG wash tower doesn't make me feel like I've compromised. I've had the unit for 15 months and it works great and I don't have any musty smells. As long as you let the wash tub air out after a load and periodically remove the dispenser to dry it out, this unit (and most later model front loads) should serve you well. I have a stacked Maytag unit in my back guest house that is about 4 years old and even though it has a slightly larger capacity, I think it takes longer to complete a load compared to this LG. Overall, I'm very happy with the LG unit and if it can go at least 2-3 years without me calling a repair genie, I am likely to purchase again. My old Frigidaire stacked unit always had to be repaired so I hope this LG can stand up over time. For a house we will be remodeling soon, I was originally designing for a laundry room to fit a traditional side by side set. But after having this LG wash tower, now I'm hoping to install two of these tower units side by side instead so we can double the laundry capacity in the new house. We are loving our new LG washer/dryer tower and it looks so nice and clean in our space! Appreciate the centered control panel that sits between the washer and dryer

This is a beautiful, solidly designed machine. It is much quieter than my previous all-in-one, and I love that the controls are all at the center of the unit(s). For all the intelligent design, however, I cannot fathom why the water temp, especially is so non-adjustable. "Normal" wash cycle will not let you set it for cold water. Why not? Many people and many detergents, have switched to using cold water routinely, to save money and energy use. I have to pretend I'm washing "Bedding" to be able to use cold water. Same problem with "Normal" drying. ONLY high heat is allowed there. I have not used high heat in 20 years. So, again, "Bedding" is my setting. This seems really dumb.

The tower washer and dryer is just the easiest to use. The machine makes washing look easy. However, there claim that it is easy to go remote and online is simply not true. LG needs to improve their software so the router can connect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I notice that we are limited to what LG thinks are the settings we need to use. I would rather select what I want. Exp normal load is only high heat. Have only had the tower for 1 month but so far not impressed. ⁰
