Haven't unboxed it yet. Wanted it as a spare to replace a SMART TV. Hard to find a regular LED tv now, figure they will disappear. I don't like my smart one., too sensitive and touchy, even turning on. and won't be using all the streaming internet options.
Inexpensive TV replacement for my travel trailer. Price was average for this, but Walmart was the only one to carry the exact replacement I needed. I had to fit the mounting bracket and this one did.
this is a simple tv with a cable hookup and HDMI, exactly what I needed for my security camera system. Now I don't have to flick my television channel while watching tv to see security camera because it's always on using this tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new LG TV is working fine. It sits in the kitchen and is nice to view when making or eating meals.
Purchased two weeks ago, before the Covid-19 stay at home order. Our old kitchen TV was beginning to fail and we needed a TV about the same size as our old 19". Choose this model for its size, low price and pedistal stand as it has to sit on a small table. Was easy to setup as it's attached to a cable box. The picture was good but the sound was weak. Tweeked with the audio settings and is OK now.
Great little TV for the price. But the only thing I don't like that it was not a smart TV. So I cannot wirelessly play a movie from my phone to the TV without buying a fire stick or something like that
I didn't pay attention closely enough to the specs on this tv. I am slightly hard of hearing and wanted to hook up my external speakers to the tv. Unfortunately there is no port for them. There is a place to plug in the power cord and a place to plug in the cable but nothing to plug in any other external accessory.
SPEAKERS/SOUND: there are a number of at least semi-helpful adjustments, though with most all sound adjustment combinations, voices still sound, to some degree, like the person is speaking inside a cardboard box or a bucket. Bass frequencies are sorely lacking. I doubt you'd want to listen to concert programming on it. Volume is sufficient for our sometimes noisy kitchen. We can hear the TV satisfactorily with the dishwasher running. PICTURE: again a lot of adjustments, with which I am still experimenting, trying to get skin rendition looking natural. Seems that achieving satisfactory contrast and brightness results in losing facial detail. I'm surprised that the 720p definition on its 24" screen is so noticeably lower looking than 720p on the 19" TV that this LG replaces. Since we do most of our TV watching in our kitchen, I would happily paid 3-4 times the price to get a 24" TV with UHD, HDR, on a pedestal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good- I bought this TV based on the LG reputation for quality products. It has a great picture and fit perfectly in the space I had for it. The bad- The volume has to be all the way up to hear it, not good for a brand new tv. There are no control buttons on the tv, you have to rely on the remote only. if you drop it and it breaks or fails with old age, you are out of luck. The ugly- my tv failed after 6 months even though it is still under new product warranty getting a good FEDEX shipping code to return has been a miserable experience
We bought these TVs to upgrade the old CRT TVs in our ship's staterooms. We are able to watch movies on our CCTV system. However, the crew needs to be able to use headphones so as not to disturb roommates or the stateroom next door, as people are sleeping around the clock. Is LG so cheap that can't even put a headphone jack or audio output jacks on their TVs?!??
