LG French 4 Door Smart Refrigerator, Gray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this refrigerator for its features that help organizing the content We especially like the door-in-door for making frequently accessed items easy to get to. One surprise is we did not expect to use the craft ice. But we have found that dropping two balls into a water bottle does not block a straw and keeps the water cool all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge because I liked the sleek stainless look. The size was exactly what I needed for my large family. I didn't initial think I would love the craft ice balls but I find myself using it more and more. I absolutely LOVE the door within a door. My husband and kids are constantly opening the fridge to get something to drink. Now it's a quick in and out. Lastly, the convertible drawer is a great feature! . On the weekend I used it as a freezer for a large ice cream cake, two days later I used it as a fridge for all my fresh fruit and veggies. It really does cover all my needs and I really love my new fridge!

Overall the our refrigerator has been fine. My spouse and I both noticed that food seems to keep fresh much longer compared to our previous fridge. The french door with door-in-door design is very convenient, and the adjustable temp full-convert drawer is great at keeping drinks icy cold. It is a very quiet machine and you rarely hear it running. Having the upper ice maker in the door is convenient, but the capacity is lacking and we often run out of ice when entertaining. The craft ice is great when it works, but it is unreliable and the replacement ice maker is starting to have problems again.

so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. The water filter assembly could be improved. mine broke and had to be replaced right after the purchase Sometimes when replacing the filter the bypass switch won't shut and then it sprays water inside the refrigerator .

Beautiful refrigerator! Love the features. Unfortunately there is a serious problem with the inside of the main upper cabinet. The embossed shelf supports on the right wall do not adequately hold the shelves. Not much weight will cause the shelf to drop down onto the contents of the shelf below. LG technician came twice and told us he did all that he could, and that we needed to contact LG, again. We have a beautiful refrigerator that we can not use, as designed! Very sad! Don't know who or how we can gat this repaired or replaced. It is unsatisfactory as it is. LG's response to this will determine our ultimate review and word of mouth to family, friends and neighbors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love all of the storage, the multiple compartments and the separate drink door. Do not like how the pull handles on the doors keep coming off, have had to put them back on 3 times since arrival 2 weeks ago.

I love the design of the fridge - which is why we finally settled on this one after comparing numerous other brands. It is one of the larger cubic ft, has door-in-door feature, and makes craft ice (3rd ice option from the typical crushed/cubed on door). However, after 2wks of use, the drinking water on the door continued to come out warm. When I called, they said because of the small reservoir it doesn't get cold. Something I wish I knew prior to purchase! Also, the lip on the fridge door doesn't always fold out flush when closing. 2 things I'm having to reconsider as I don't think I can live with these issues!

Fridge was great while it lasted. Made it about 6 months before it stopped cooling and making ice. Loved the craft ice maker, but the fridge just couldn't stay cold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this 21 months and now temp wont stay where it was set. spoke with LG and they claimed this was normal for it to vary 10 degrees. They strategically build new refrigerators/products to go out around warranty. I have 2 refrigerators in my garage (reaches temps of 90 in garage) & shop (reaches 110) that are both better refrigerators. one was made in the 1970's and the other 1990's. I dont understand how we have regressed with electronics. Actually i do because it is a money grab.
