Lg G Pad 5™ 10.1 FHD - LMT600QSACCASV

I chose the LG tablets for the kids and grandkids over the Apple IPad's they previously had to get away from apple apple subscription fees. I've had good luck with my other LG Electronics and appliances and reading the specs on the LG tablets it said 24 hour battery so I figured I'd give it a try. The battery didn't last a full 24 hours under a heavy use so there's definitely room for improvement on battery life but it did last longer than the battery on the kids old iPads so that was a win for the electric bill! I would recommend dumping the iPads and switching to LG tablets. Speed is very good.

If you want to text just get a phone. The only negative reviews for this come from people complaining that it doesn't text. It's not supposed to. That's what a phone is for. Other than that it's a good tablet. Don't listen to other reviews.

So it is not a Computer, Then, What is it great at ... 1. Video Conferencing, 2. Online learning Home schooling, 3. Interface with My service Providers (Doctors), 4. Watching reruns. 5. YouTube, 6. Watching Sports, 7. 4G reception.

This is an awesome tablet! Good sound and picture quality! I was very disappointed when I realized it didn't have call and message app capabilities... Please update it somehow!

tablet looks wonderful, but it's got a MAJOR, FLAW! IT CAN NOT SEND OR RECEIVE TEXTS OR CALLS! Which also means you cannot use most of the video calling apps because you need a text to verify your mobile number. Not even third party message apps from play store will work. LG PLEASE UPDATE THIS!!!

Was excited to get this and use it as a gaming tablet and a WiFi HotSpot creator. However it can successfully create its own HotSpot it completely fails with connecting external devices such as controllers for games. The device connects just fine to controllers however it doesn't transmit any of the inputs?! Very disappointing!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My son was given this tablet and used it mainly on educational things than all of a sudden the screen display light got dim, than next thing you know the whole screen was pitch black . I kid you not he only had the tablet for 2 months ! I then tried to find online solutions everything was mainly on replacing the WHOLE ENTIRE SCREEN ! More money and time consuming. I may have a defective tablet .

No message/phone option like the one before. Not way too expand storage and move apps. Very little usable storage. Just bogus. The only thing it's good for is watchin tv and reading books. Sad LG phones and Tablets are no more but if is the quality there is no wonder LG flopped in the mobile space.
