LG LDTH7972S 42 dBA Stainless Steel Top Control Smart Dishwasher

I've been an owner of two sets of LG washers/dryers for the past 20 years. Neither set has/had problems and therefore I am updating my kitchen with LG appliances. This dishwasher is super quiet and does an amazing job with the dishes. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who is looking for a dishwasher.

I have had the dishwasher a couple of weeks now. It is quiet and works well. One thing you should know about installation is the unit is 25 inches in depth so it sticks out beyond a standard cabinet.

I have the dishwasher for about 2 months now it is the quietest I've ever owned I have to put my ear to it to see if it is on. Also it cleaned a baked on lasagna dish without washing first. AMAZING

This dishwasher is so much better than the previous 3 models (different brands). It is quiet, quick, great features and most importantly, cleans the dishes!

I bought this dishwasher about 2 months ago, my favorite feature is the interior light! Makes it so convenient to load and unload the dishes. i love the small top shelf. I like that I can customize the racks for the size of my dishes or pots. It is super quiet which is great when you are running it during the day. The only thing that would make this perfect would be if it didn't leave water on the top of my glasses.

There are LED lights on the inside, which I thought was great the first time I saw them, and it is a great feature to have when loading and unloading the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have bought a couple of LG appliances and have liked them all. This dishwasher cleans the dishes and is so quiet. It took a couple of loads to learn how to dry the dishes. Happy we can have a conversation without raised voices. Nice not to re-soak several dishes after running a cycle. They have all had a learning curve compared to our old appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very quiet machine with nice racks, lights and steam. Drying is disappointing- but apparently this is not unique to LG. The controls are confusing at first- should be intuitive. Linking the ThinQ app is elusive; couldn't find the right barcode to scan and the link instructions to WiFi very poorly written. The manual is generic; too many models. Not as satisfying as the LG washer.

Middle rack is faulty design and cleaning is no better than my old dishwasher. The middle rack has broken twice now the first time it took over one month to get repaired. The ball bearings call out and the drawer close not close/open. The cleaning is not particularly good either.
