LG LRYKS3106S 30.7 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel 3-Door French Door Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a one month review of my new LG Refrigerator. It has room to spare for food storage and an amazing amount of room in the freezer. Love the window door quick access for the most used items during the day. This refrigerator is so efficient at maintaining a cold temperature we had to raise it up from the recommended 37 degrees. Ice maker works great.

I have had my refrigerator since 6/8 and it's so nice. I have so much room in it and the ice choices are great. My husband loves the insta view and quick access that's where I put his things, and he does not have to ask me where something is at some much easier well worth the extra cost.

Nice refrigerator, Shows a tremendous amount of fingerprints. Prepare to clean the door every day. Ice maker works beautifully. Except I probably dumped 50 loads of ocean because it TASTES terrible. Replaced the filter twice.

We like the storage capacity of the refrigerator, water and ice and the door-in-door function. The water had a strong chemical taste for the first 9-ish months. The ice still has a chemical taste when it has melted, though it is more subtle now nearly a year later. The top freezer drawer holding the ice consistently comes off of the track, falling into the smaller drawer below it, preventing us from accessing anything in that middle drawer without first lifting the top one back onto the rack. We have attempted to adapt by storing very few, light items in that top freezer drawer, but the drawer continues to fall and get stuck. It is quite heavy with the ice in there to lift back up onto the track again, which makes it a hassle. This limits the freezer capacity from what is stated as available.

The ice maker in the door / water taste fine, but the Craft ice & Mini cube ice in the bottom freezer we can't use because everyone complains about the funny taste. We like all other features about the unit, but if we can't use all three ice makers, we've wasted our money. If you could give us some advice on fixing this problem it would help.

I would like more information about my order but the seller is not returning my messages. The item is now out of stock and I have not received confirmation from the seller that they will send the one I ordered which was the last one at time of purchase. I am so afraid that they do not have it and I am going without a fridge and have a 3k hold on my card for nothing. After reading the reviews I am wondering if I made a mistake and now that they do not return any messages it is confirming my concerns.

This freezer will cost you your sanity. Everything you read in the reviews about the freezer is 100% true. Drawers falling off the tracks, cracking and breaking parts, Ice falling over the back edge. Over and over. Completely dread needing to go into the freezer to get anything because a drawer will get stuck, fall of the track, cause the other drawer to fall off the track, and make you want to throw things. Just because of this I will never buy another LG appliance for fear of what flaw they will have. Thought about trying to buy new drawers but now after seeing everyone else's reviews, its probably useless. This will end up being the most expensive spare garage frig ever!

The freezer drawers are crap. The top one comes off track al the time and the middle one just broke after less than two years.
