[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have using LG replacement water filters for years on all my LG refrigerators. Great peace of mind of drinking quality filtered water and ice.
I bought this product and it work perfect, I received fast and the customer service was impeccable. Very good attention and extremely satisfied!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are repeat customer several times. Always appreciate the quality and assurance that our water and ice filter is keeping us safe. Quick shipping too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the twin upright LG washer/dryer and my family loves them. Amazing! I also bought the refrigerator as LG products are the best rules in our house 🏡
Bought these easy to replace and use replacement filters for my LG fridge and will only use LG filters as they clean and make the water safer to drink with no chlorine smell or taste.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that we have had our LG refrigerator for five months, we are totally appreciating it. At first I thought I was going to have a problem with the different arrangement going from side-by-side to French door. Boy do I love it so much better. The freezer is easier to find things and get ice. Two I makers are a godsend.
At the time I purchased these, I read a product description (which I can no longer find) that indicated that it removes 90% or so dissolved solids/contaminants. Hoping to have a convenient source of potable water and ice that I didn't have to worry about (I have lead pipes), I purchased and installed the filter. After running several gallons of water through the filter, I found that total dissolved solids were reduced by only about 16.5%, not enough of a difference for me (and for the price of the filter). I got a countertop RO filter system, and it removes 89%, so that is the only water I'll drink. Tap water: 145ppm, LG filter: 121 ppm, RO unit: 16 ppm
I was completely taken back by the complete an total inability to have the "drum" which is actually a square sided dishwasher "Drum" that separated from the lid not taken care of by LG. The warranty indicates "Life Time". In addition, there were no repair companies in our county who would even service LG products. They indicate, no support, no parts and just down right interested only in the sale and not the service of products that fail. I have an LG Dryer and Washer and Refrigerator. Now I am extremely concerned that they may fail. There is no possible way to have they repaired. It's an incredible dilemma as LG is thought to be a wonderful product. Here are the pictures. It's not a part, it is a separation of materials that probably happened at the factory according to both the appliance repair companies.
My reason for this review and the one star, the product that I receive is a third-party product lacking the necessary OEM filtration standards. My old filter that I was replacing, looked similar to the new one, except a few things, the major notice was the weight. It was so lite in comparison to the old one from Best Buy, and some of the writing was a bit off, now I can see why Best Buy was higher.
This item is counterfeit. I thought buying from a 3rd party through Walmart would guarantee authenticy, I was wrong. There is no glowing LG logo when shining light on it which indicates it is fake. Also it's much lighter than the original, with faded logo. Using a counterfeit water filter is unsafe, it has unwashed carbon blocks that leak heavy metals back into your drinking water instead of filtering them out. It can damage your refrigerator's water lines or fail to block harmful contaminants like lead, mercury, or asbestos. They also cause leaks inside the refrigerator housing. I Do Not recommend buying this product.
