This TV was highly rated, but I always worried about ordering on-line from a non-local source. Nothing to worry about here. The TV was completely as advertised, packaged beyond what was necessary - in other words, a true joy. Thank you Beach Camera... #sweepstakes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved up from DLP to OLED, like coming out of the Stone Age! Controls offer almost unlimited audio and visual choices. Picture was so good, we bought a new Blu Ray player to take advantage of the TV.
I had a Sony tv, great tv, clear image and nice colors, then I got this LG oled 65 in. You really see the difference, the image quality is awesome... it looks like you are inside the screen... or better the screen is alive... 3d The wide of the tv is like a car window width, except the bottom where the gpu and speakers are Which's much much wider. The audio is ok, I rather plugged in my subwoofer and sound bar with optical output. The menus and remote are intuitive, easy to use. Overall an excellent device.
I've had my B8 for about a month now and I can't imagine being any happier. The picture is flat out phenomenal it seems perfectly fine when viewed from almost any angle. Everything you would expect from OLED picture you get, and there are other reviews that can explain the tech aspects better. Shockingly, the sound very good as well. Surprisingly deep bass, crystal clear speech and appropriately shakes the room when need be. Can't say I have any problems would this tv and would recommend it to anyone hanging on the fence about it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first LG television and we love it. Fabulous picture and lots and lots of great features.
I have been messing with my new TV for over 2 weeks trying to get TV to connec to my Google Assistant. Based on my efforts and the endless reviews and comments online, It won't happen and LG is in no hurry to make it happen especially in the US. Beautiful picture anyway, features just don't work. I purchased this tv a few weeks ago. The video is good. But the audio has a tendency not to match the video at times. I guess I am not altogether convinced that this is worth the extra money that I paid for it over a standard 4k led tv. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
LG is the most annoying TV I've ever owned. First, I turned off all the adds and denied them access to track my information but I STILL see adds from their "my channel" - it pops up huge on the left side of my screen whenever I hit the home button. Tried to move "my channel" to the end of the list so I can't see it but of course it won't let you move it. Then I also tried to delete their shopping channel app to give me more room at the bottom - nope, they won't let you do that either. Personally, I resent not being able to turn on my TV without seeing content I do not want to see. They only other annoying thing is that it comes with economy mode turned on and the screen looked incredibly dark - so dark I thought it was defective. Do yourself a favor if you but it (which I don't recommend) and turn the economy off before you start trying to make adjustments to make it brighter, etc. I guess I just expected better from LG. Very disappointed in this product overall. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased this LG OLED65B8PUA TV In 2018. I am deaf and thus use closed captioning 100 percent of the time. My screen has a lot of burn in. No gaming. 12 hours plus use. CNN on at least 4 hours a day. Disappointed!
The TV looks great, has an awesome picture but when the TV is on continuously for a couple hours the audio gets delayed so that the sound doesn't match the lips. LG sent a repair guy out who said it was a defective main board. After owning the TV just one month this was a huge disappointment and a big hassle to have removed from the wall and returned to the store. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
