Brilliant, ticks all the right boxes, overall better than Samsung, Sony, Panasonic. And sooooooo easy to use. I love it ! Get (sic) it from Richer Sounds in Holborn, London. The store manager Steve will see you right. You won't be disappointed
We purchased an LG GX65 to replace a Panasonic OLED CZ952, so a hard act to follow. We are completely satisfied with every aspect of this TV. From mounting it on the wall using the VESA mounting points to it's connectivity to other devices, its absolutely brilliant. Picture and sound quality is about as good as it gets, the super slim design is perfect and the menu system is simple to navigate. I have the ThinQ app on my phone and that basically gives me a remote control on my phone. I would thoroughly recommend this TV without a second thought and comparing it to other similar TV's I feel the price was fair and offers good value.
Amazing TV - screen quality is the best. Fits flat against the wall and only tiny depth. Sound decent for what it is. Overall 5 stars. Areas for LG to improve for next model include: 1) Smart TV app store - doesn't contain all the apps you will want to use so will end up buying a streaming stick (eg. Fire TV etc) or using Airplay from mobile etc 2) TV cannot record streams played from apps only from TV aerial 3) TV defaults to trying to play tuned TV stations when turned on - cannot be set to just start in Gallery mode (putting pictures on screen) or start in other apps 4) LG Voice recognition could be improved
The 77" LG CX OLED is an amazing television. Hands down, the best picture quality you can get in a tv. The image has an increased level of depth due to the high contrast ratio. It gives shows and movies an more life like appearance. I watch all types of content: shows, movies, sports, and games. Streaming content looks great....even 1080p content from Youtube TV, HBO max, and others that do not support 4K. Games on XBOX look amazing and play incredibly smoothly with no lag. Also, as a higher end television this set has many features you may not find elsewhere. You can connect bluetooth headphones directly, you can connect WISA speakers if you have them, every HDMI port is 2.1, and so much more. And finally, the tv is so incredibly thin. It is truly and engineering marvel! Highly recommend.
I've read some negative comments on forums, but screen uniformity on my set is excellent. I'm not sure if it is luck or is LG is doing a better job sorting panels. No TV is perfect, but I am very satisfied and this is from someone who still uses a last gen Pioneer Kuro set. The only complaints I have are some erratic behavior with eARC (seems to be a common issue) and lack of all forms of DTS on passthrough. This is an issue now as HDMI 2.1 AVR's are not common but will probably lessen over time. The included mounting was not difficult but I would recommend watching or skimming a video as the written instructions are pretty poor. It is not possible for the installation to be completely flat to the wall unless you have a relatively large recessed box (without a flange) for power and AV connections. Plan ahead if this is important to you. Beach Camera did a great job on the order and shipping. I had no issues.
I'm really impressed with the picture and happy with my purchase. This is my first LG TV. It has a great remote and setup was easy. Everything just worked was intuitive and helped keep the excitement of a new purchase alive without being interrupted with set up headaches. #sweepstakes
I use this as a PC monitor for gaming and watching streaming sites. Able to get 4k, 60 hz, 8 bit , 4:4:4 chroma using this as a PC monitor with only my RTX 2070. That is the limit of HDMI 2.0. You do have to get an RTX 3000 series card to go reach 4k 120 HZ 4:4:4 chroma (HDMI 2.1) When using as a PC monitor, make sure to set the HDMI port you are using to PC or the screen will lag horribly. I have yet to run into the VRR black flickering issue I kept hearing about. I have yet to run into the chomasampling issues I've also heard about. Beware, some driver updates from NVIDIA cause the LG CX to not be recognized as GSYNC compatible monitor. Not having GSYNC on makes a HUGE difference. Just google how to revert back to an older driver version. Very happy with this monitor. It was, and still is, WAY too expensive, but I finally splurged on it. #sweepstakes
Great television! Amazing picture. Full of high end features. Smooth ordering process and delivery from Buydig. I cannot emphasize enough the great picture quality from this television. Every image has such increased depth and lifelike appearance. #sweepstakes
This is my third LG 4K set others 55" Panels, all are excellent panels, This TV 77" OLED that I have been extremely satisfied with the Performance and Design, but I love LG products and at the right price this 77 OLED TV is a great value, Can't wait to Play PS5 on this set, SOFTWARE is next level.. Great TV until next year...
I have a high quality home theater to provide sound instead of the TV speakers. I have headphones that are used for watching TV at night since the TV is in the bedroom. I cannot change from one to the other within getting several menus deep in the TV system menus. For no apparent reason, having one selected disables the other ( headphone and optical). The TV would be a 5 star if the sound optical port was always active.
