It changed my life so high tech. Great tv experience
We love this TV. Debated between QLED and full back lit LED (Samsung Q80, Sony 900). Glad we went this route, and got the 77". Creates a FULL CINEMATIC experience for home entertainment. Remote and interface all very easy to use - I have only one complaint. HBO MAX (and some other streaming apps, PBS, etc.) is not in the app store and therefore not immediately available at the main menu screen. Also, the WEB OS does not support it from the web. I had to tuck HBO MAX into my Hulu subscription. Or you can work around it with a streaming stick (Roku, Fire, etc.) but that is another remote, exactly what I was trying to avoid.
I'm really impressed with the picture and happy with my purchase. This is my first LG TV. It has a great remote and setup was easy. Everything just worked was intuitive and helped keep the excitement of a new purchase alive without being interrupted with set up headaches. #sweepstakes
This TV replaced a 1080 42" LCD from the mid 2000's and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. The 4K is ultra sharp, the oled has absolute blacks, and I will be adding a PS5 to it soon so the HDMI 2.1 will be a perfect fit. The gallery design paired with in-wall home theater speakers allows the panel to have the cleanest look I've seen in a TV and well worth the cost in my living room. #sweepstakes
My first OLED tv and it's an absolute masterpiece! The picture quality is unparalleled to any other TV being offered today. I mounted it completely flush to the wall with cables running behind the wall and it looks like a painting! I am mesmerized by the picture quality of this screen. The viewing angles are great and the WebOs interface is intuitive. The unit is power packed with features that will keep it future proof for a while. So far I have played movies, nature documentaries and games on this TV and the experience was mind blowing. I would recommend this TV to every cinephile.
I watch car NASCAR races, nesting birds, movies, and lots else. This TV handles all video content just great, and demanding movie scenes especially well. If you want the best picture and the best TV, this 2020 LG CX set gives you both at a good price.
This is a fantastic tv! Take the time to adjust the picture settings when you first get it so you can truly appreciate what you are getting. The picture is simply stunning. There is great detail in the darker shades of grays and blacks that you have probably not seen before. The colors are vibrant with excellent saturation. When gaming I have not seen any unusual artifacts. The remote is pretty fun, too It is an "air" mouse which makes it easy to log in to various services. Highly reccomended.
I've read some negative comments on forums, but screen uniformity on my set is excellent. I'm not sure if it is luck or is LG is doing a better job sorting panels. No TV is perfect, but I am very satisfied and this is from someone who still uses a last gen Pioneer Kuro set. The only complaints I have are some erratic behavior with eARC (seems to be a common issue) and lack of all forms of DTS on passthrough. This is an issue now as HDMI 2.1 AVR's are not common but will probably lessen over time. The included mounting was not difficult but I would recommend watching or skimming a video as the written instructions are pretty poor. It is not possible for the installation to be completely flat to the wall unless you have a relatively large recessed box (without a flange) for power and AV connections. Plan ahead if this is important to you. Beach Camera did a great job on the order and shipping. I had no issues.
This TV is SMART!!!! you will get from LG all local channels and some other channels i have no idea how. All I have is An Antenna outside and LG does the rest for you. The picture and sound are magnificent, nice and clear. The TV contains most of the APPs you need and if you do not have it it is easy to download. LG gives you a very nice menu and easy access of the channels found. the remote makes your life much easier. Now time to kick out Verizon and Comcast with this TV you got most of the channels you can imagine.#sweepstakes
Great picture but mounting the TV flush to the wall can be a problem, LG have put a non removable mains cable on the TV which means that if you are hoping to have cables hidden behind the wall in a cavity you probably need to cut the plug off, feed the cable and then re-attach a plug. Also the cable retention clips are rubbish, they do not hold the cables flush to the back of the TV and easily come undone, I had to put duct tape over them to hold them in place - note: the TV is large and trying to get to the cables when theTV is mounted is difficult. Samsung have a much better solution with their one connect box that you can get with their higher end TV's.
