[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LGC1 77 inch three months ago. It has lived up to all my expectations. The picture quality is superb. I have paired it with a Sonos ARC sound bar and you get incredible audios. The magic remote is really useful with the pointer. My five-year-old granddaughter has mastered this remote.I also purchased a 65 inch nano cell for another room. I had the 77 inch mounted on the wall with the Sonos right below it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally upgraded my old Samsung for thr LG OLED I have been dreaming about for several years! The price was excellent. It was easy to install and the picture and color are over the top exceptional! WOW!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just set up two of them with absolutely no problems encountered. It has great picture clarity from all angles, it also comes built-in with all the movie apps like Netflix, Disney, Hulu etc. so no need for additional boxes unless you want a cable box DVR for recording shows.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of using a TCL 55" LCD smart TV and exclusively gaming on Nintendo hardware (which are solid and reliable, mind you) I wanted to give myself a bit of an upgrade. I saved and saved and purchased this 65" OLED with an Xbox Series X, and the difference in quality feels like I've spent the last years of my life drowning and I've finally been pulled up to shore. This TV is incredible. There are more than enough settings to tinker with to get it where you want it but even the stock ones out of the box are fantastic if you want to keep things simple. The smart remote is weirdly fun to use since it has a Wii Remote-style IR sensor and some helpful hidden functionality. The TV itself is stable and sturdy with a massive stand - it would take a pretty significant earthquake to even so much as sway this thing around. But the picture quality, especially with video games, my god. I won't dwell on the Series X itself because this isn't an Xbox review, but playing Psychonauts 2 in 120 FPS (thanks to this TV supporting that) was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. It's not night-and-day compared to 60FPS but that minor extra bit of control and fluidity is definitely noticeable and made me feel like I had so much more control. On the other end of the spectrum, Forza Horizon 5 in graphics mode actually blew me away quite a bit - it is difficult for my eyes to process that what I'm looking at isn't computer-generated, and thanks to the LG's OLED display and great settings for gaming, the experience was elevated even further. I imagine results would be similar if using a PS5 but this TV even makes my Switch games look great (though they're obviously not as crisp), and playing retro games on my Wii U with those deep-black borders, or games like Metroid Dread that are darker in general, was immaculate. An amazing gaming experience, honestly. I did a lot of research when deciding to buy an OLED. I looked at other brands, competing devices like Samsung QLED, and even cheaper LG OLED's, but I decided to just save up for the one that everybody said was the best, so I would hopefully not have to upgrade again for a very long time, perhaps even decades if I'm lucky. Well I'm extremely happy to say that it was absolutely worth it. I feel set for a long, long time with this TV. From the build quality to the settings to the gaming-friendly performance capabilities, all the way down to the cool remote, I think this TV will do me well for many years to come. Obviously an OLED is currently a bit of a luxury item, but if you are financially able to do so, don't settle for less. If you're looking for a great new TV to show off your new XSX or PS5, or have a ton of ultra 4K movies you want to watch, or if you want to see what OLED is all about, just go with this TV. It absolutely exceeds the hype for me and is one of the best purchases I've ever made.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided a purchase of this magnitude deserved some real research. I ultimately decided that the LG OLED was going to be the best investment for me and I am SO GLAD I made this purchase. This TV provides a beautiful, crisp picture with an impossibly thin profile. Love it. So glad I did my homework.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been 10 years since my last TV purchase. New tech introduces new learning, a bit daunting at first. But once connected and over several days, got comfortable navigating the Magic Mouse. Best picture adjustment(for my taste)was finally set. Outstanding picture quality;AMAZING detail ! Especially blacks. Totally pleased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many options out there, but only one company actually develops and manufactures OLED displays and that company is LG Display. So I figured I'd go to the source and get me an LG, not to mention, coincidentally, all my other displays in my house are LG so the C1 was destiny. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, especially now seeing the C2 is only marginally better. If you're coming from base model 1080p TVs to something like this, like I did, you'll be absolutely floored. When I first bought the TV I was amazed at what I was seeing, then realized what I was watching wasn't even in 4k! Fast forward to finding 4k content, especially HDR or Dolby vision and Oh. My. God. What a treat this TV is. I've just been devouring all the 4k HDR/Dolby vision content I can find, even upgrading and purchasing streaming services to have more 4k content. It's just so awesome. The C1 will completely change your TV watching experience. Careful, you will get fat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with my purchase. This is my second LG television. I had thoroughly researched features, price, and compatibility with the rest of my home set up. This one worked super well! Works great with sonos and I have been surprised how much I am using/enjoying the smart features of the tv. Everything matches the tv perfectly. Can play at most vision and atmosphere audio content (with my sonos setup) and stadia app is easy to use for gaming. Love how seamless it all is.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not pleased with the sound quality. The “s” sounds at the ends of words is very pronounced. Also finding it a bit challenging to operate the remote. I would prefer navigating with arrows rather than the wheel. The size and picture quality are outstanding.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV had a vertical bar appear on it's screen after about 4 months of use. It then started to power down after about 10 seconds after we turned it on. It's now ben 10 days of not having a tv because we've had to wait on a part to be ordered and coordinate with a repairman. When the TV was working it looked great! Just disappointed that it broke after only about 4 months of use and gives me concern about it's longevity.
