I was worried the larger screen may cause eye strain but it's so clear and well contrasted that it's no different than looking at everyday life close up. My migraines have actually calmed down, I assume the refresh rate has helped tremendously so I no longer fear catching up on my programmes! Nature programmes are absolutely stunning and the colour brightness for animals makes you feel like it's just there with you! The flat to the wall design looks beautiful and polished on my media wall. I'm very pleased with my tv thank you LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the LG OLED77G54LW for a short time now and I’m genuinely impressed. The first thing you notice is the picture quality. The blacks are truly black, not greyish like on many LED TVs, and that makes movies and dark scenes look incredibly realistic. The contrast is outstanding and details are visible even in very dim scenes. HDR content especially looks fantastic — highlights are bright but not harsh, and colours look natural rather than over-saturated. Motion handling is also excellent. Fast-moving scenes in sports and films remain clear without blur, and gaming feels very responsive with low input lag. The screen has a very fast pixel response time, so there’s no noticeable ghosting or smearing. The design is another strong point. The TV sits very flush to the wall and looks premium and minimal. Viewing angles are wide, so the picture stays consistent even when watching from the side. Reflections are well controlled too, which helps a lot in a bright room. The smart interface is quick and easy to navigate, and all major streaming apps work smoothly. Overall it feels like a high-end product both in performance and build quality. The oled screen is gorgeous and the hardware itself is beautiful too. The OS is the weakest point, which feels a bit overwhelming at times, and some dubious data/advertising stuff going on. But all in all, this was so worth the money.

I’m at a loss for words about the build quality. This TV absolutely blew away my older, still functional, S****** TV. I happily traded it in for a few hundred bucks. The included stand is also great, made of solid aluminium and matching the TV frame. Cable management is a godsend too – no more dangling cables for my cats to chew on. The remote is a game changer. I get that some people hate it, but personally, the pointer is such a great addition way to navigate the menu. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced OLED TV with a nice size and vibrant colours, without the annoying glare in your bright Aussie lounge room, look no further. You’ve found it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is amazing, BUT, and it is a significant but, HDR and Dolby Video feeds show up way too dark. In order see what’s going on I have to watch in Vivid mode (which I really don’t want to use) and turn the contrast down (otherwise subtitles are searingly bright) . If it wasn’t for this, the TV would be 5 stars. I’m honestly shocked that a ‘flagship’ TV was allowed to be released to market like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The image quality is fantastic and exactly what I expected. Bright, sharp, and genuinely impressive. Unfortunately the software experience lets it down. webOS feels limiting compared with a proper Google TV setup. I cannot install native Google TV or Android TV friendly apps, so I am forced to stick to whatever is available in the webOS app catalogue. Bluetooth audio is also fiddly. If I use an external Bluetooth speaker, after powering the TV off and back on the speaker often needs reconnecting again, which gets annoying fast. The remote is another disappointment. It has lots of shortcut buttons for apps I do not use and I find that inconvenient. Other brands offer remotes without these shortcuts, and at this price I expected more premium attention to detail. There are also missing quality of life features that are standard on Google TV, like automatically launching a chosen app after power on. Finally, I do not use cable, aerial or satellite input at all, so I do not need channel tuning or TV related menus, yet there is no option to disable that side of the interface and hide it properly. Overall, an excellent panel held back by the platform and small but constant annoyances.
