Needs Slimline to SATA adapter.
Works fine but as with all slim drives you'll need a slimline to SATA adapter to fit it in. No special cables just an adapter.

Not exactly new
This is a Hitachi HLD LG BU40N. It's either manufactured in 2016 or 2017. So it's not new. Quite a few of them were very loud once mounted.

Noisy drive
Drive reads and writes all discs it should, but it has an annoying whiny noise when playing audio CD's and blu-ray movies. Fine for data discs but not for multi-media usage.
