Online ordering from Sam's Club was easy. It was delivered on-time and in excellent condition by Innovel Solutions The installers were experienced and personable, plus both the installation and in the cleanup/removal of the old washer was done with care and expertise. The sidekick is convenient and and easy to use. It can be a supplement or an alternative to the full-size washer. It has an annual estimated energy cost of $4. So far the sidekick is working great. I was worried that if it wasn't used much it would start to smell musty, but so far it hasn't. It's great for when you have just those few items that need washing but not enough for a full load. It isn't meant to be a quick wash. The regular washer has a quick wash feature that takes 15 minutes.

This is really a great invention. My husband figured I’d never use it. I used it three times in the first day. It is perfect for small jobs, delicates and hand wash items. It even alerts you when the fabric softener cycle is beginning so you can add it if you would like. And you can run both the sidekick and the large washer at the same time. It’s perfect. And it comes with a little detergent cup. I am so glad I have this sidekick. Extremely happy!

It's perfect for washing red colored clothing especially new items alone as to not discolor lighter clothing!! It's also wonderful for the few white items you want to use bleach with and great for those delicate items like bras and sweaters.

I bought this appliance about 2 months ago and I am so glad I did. My father is in assisted living and I do his laundry three times a week. They are small loads and the SideKick is perfect for those loads. I also have a new grandson who visits often and the SideKick is great for the blankets and bibs he uses at my house. Thank you LG for this opportunity to tell my fellow launderers about this wonderful addition to your appliance line-up! Too often I've had to waste water and increase my utiity bill washing personal loads of laundry. Not to mention the damage done to my lingerie and other fine washables using the less than 'delicate' cycle in most regular washers. The side-kick is a perfect addition today's appliance dilemmas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the washer with side kick a little over a year ago. We love the sidekick for small loads and diapers but shortly after getting out of warranty the plastic handle to open the sidekick broke and we have not been able to use it since.

Our WD100CV Side Kick was wonderful for 4 years, until the cheap plastic handle failed, the lid didn't close properly, and the unit started to leak. Based on reviews we are not alone - someone else's photo here is IDENTICAL to our broken handle. Why is this design still for sale? The handle's side pins failed, and the handle literally fell off the lid. A cheap part killed the entire machine. As a Quality & Reliability Engineer, I'd love to know how your review process approved this latch. We ordered the newer model to replace this one because you can't replace just the handle, and the repair is complicated and expensive. Fingers crossed that the newer model's latch design is better.

I used my new Sidekick once but don't want to use it again. The manual says to leave the lid open after use so it can dry. Mine is in a traffic area so that is not convenient but I open it up at night. After several nights of being open there is still water under the tub. I hear water sloshing when I jiggle the tub. I love the idea of the sidekick, but it doesn't wash very well. I expected it to be able to clean "lightly soiled" clothes, as advertised; however, it cannot remove any visible soil, which makes me wonder if it really cleans the clothes at all.
