[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with a compact front load washer. I have a compact dryer . I had to go with the compact dryer then the compact washer as it was getting difficult finding regular size dryers and washers to fit down my narrow basement stairs . I have used my new washer 79 times according to LQ ThinQ app. I have had high efficiency full size washers before so I knew what to expect . The washing time and noise levels are about the same. It took a while to get use the front loading . All my past experiences have been top loading . Only disappointment was with " Normal Wash " extra rinse is not an option even though the manual book states it is . Would recommend washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer about 2 weeks and am in LOVE with it. My neighbors no longer hear me washing early in the morning. Very quiet even when spinning on high. I have matching dryer stacked and not really any vibration issues. Easy operation and no issues about how long it takes to wash. I use 30 min fast cycle and clothes come out perfect. Have washed all kinds of loads inc queen sheet set.

We recently moved into a house where we needed the stacked washer and dryer to fit in am opening only 71" tall. There aren't many options if you encounter this kind of restriction and we were so thankful that LG had a solution. Overall, this machine leaves our clothes smelling fresh and perfectly dry. It's a quiet unit and looks great. Honestly, some of the reviews I've read about these machines are just downright hilarious: "The washer is small and doesn't hold as much as a commercial washer," or, "The wash cycle takes forever," or "There are too many features on this machine and it's confusing," etc. Okay, so, all statements are true, but LG didn't try to hide any of these facts. It's advertised as a "Compact Smart" washer and dryer. It's meant for being installed where space is lacking. It holds up to 2.4 cubic feet of clothing which is significantly less if you're used to using a commercial washer or a home machine that has the more standard 4.5 cubic foot capacity or larger. It's a Smart Washer (and dryer). It calculates the correct amount of time your clothes need to be washed (or dried) based on the weight of the load it's washing (or drying). You can download and customize your own washing and drying settings. The hefty manuals included will tell you how to do so, but for those of us that don't have the patience or know-how, the presets and touch screen panel are very intuitive and easy to operate. Some tips: Get some pros to install this. If you purchase both machines, it will include the mounting brackets. Further, they'll level the unit(s) correctly ensuring proper drainage. You want faster wash and dry cycles? Wash and dry smaller laundry loads. Do not overload the machines - they will not wash or dry optimally (and you could end up breaking the machine). We are a family of three (3), the youngest being 7 and generally have a half a dozen loads of laundry each week that includes our clothes, sheets and towels. Having the unit linked to our phones to let us know when wash or drying is complete has been super helpful. This is a great unit if you understand the parameters of what it offers.

This small washer works wonders-- First getting through small area steps & door was the main reason I bought it. You have to do a few loads to know the ins & outs--push button type contol panel I'm impressed with how the clothes come out--clean and almost dry.

This washer has been absolutely amazing. Obviously a little on the small size compared to other models, but surprisingly big for a small washer and does a great job getting my clothes clean. The smart tech feature are also super cool and I get notifications when my wash is complete. This washer is perfect for anyone that has space constraints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a month ago and we have been fairly happy with the performance. The quick wash cycle is very efficient, and overall does a nice job of cleaning even with heavy loads. The spin cycle is amazingly silent and there is no shudder. The drum does tend to stay too wet and it is strange not being able to see through the glass door because it is overly tinted. Still, a good buy.

I have been able to use this washing machine for about six months now. It works OK, it is small, unfortunately, it's the only size I can get to fit into a little closet in my home. Well, this survey is not asking me my opinion on the dryer, which I had also requested some insight about. I have to say that the dryer is a piece of trash. Absolutely awful. I don't even use it. It is sitting on top of the washer taking up space. All the reviews say it takes a little bit longer to dry clothes. What it needs to say is it never dries the clothes totally. To try to dry two bath towels, takes more than three hours, and they're still not dry. They are still damp. Are use the full spin cycle, the highest level on the washing machine, hoping that it cuts back on the drying time. I tried to dry five T-shirts, and after five hours, they were still damp. I bought this washer and dryer as a set to be stacked, and I am absolutely so sorry that I bought it. I wish I could return them. But it's been too long.

We've had this washer for four years. We've replaced the hose from the detergent tray to the drum twice, because the drum rubs the hose and eventually it wears a hole and causes a leak. LG put a foam pad on the drum to prevent this, but it doesn't really fix the problem.

We got this compact washer dryer. They look good, connected to wifi, nice app, but unfortunately it vibrates so hard that my neighbor downstairs complained. Got professional installer to level it, got vibration pads…but nothing. LG sent a repair person but found nothing wrong with it, so i guess it is by design (which is really bad) - not recomended
