LG WM3555HVA Washer/Dryer

It's the first time I've used an all in one and I love the convenience. I can wash and dry a smedium load in about 3 hours. It has wash and dry only cycles. It's fairly quiet and the loudest it gets is when it's on the extra high spin cycle. The high speed causes vibration and movement but that could be because it's sitting on a rolling slider and a pedestal. I'm a family of one and I've used it weekly for the past 2 months.

I got this machine from Walmart and they out sourced it (third party). I received it with damages and still waiting for third party not happy never ever again from Walmart. Still waving for solution because Walmart is not doing anything. Very sad.

This product only washes, even just “drying” it uses a lot of water and never finishes even close to dry. You physically have to turn off the water valves to dry anything. You would have better luck hand washing your items. I have to wring out everything and pray that it dries ok. It also takes an insane amount of time with any cycle. Good luck trying to get anything done in a day besides drying. It also has a very small load so if you have a larger blanket you can't wash it without attempting to break the machine. This is the worst piece of technology I have ever had to deal with and I work in IT hopefully that says something.

I am leaving my review because I see almost nothing but bad reviews of these things. I firmly believe that if you use it correctly, you won't have any issues. I love mine. Drying ability - it works great once you learn how it works. Clothes come out feeling "steamy," which can give you the initial impression that they're still wet. They aren't. Let them cool down to room temperature and you realize that they are completely dry, and they were just steamy, not actually damp. Plus, if you fold/hang the clothes while they're hot and steamy, they end up wrinkle-free. Vibration - haven't experienced this, even when washing/drying large, heavy loads. Maybe just follow the advice on the machine that says the drying capacity is half of the wash capacity, and don't overload a 2.4 cubic foot washer. Weird "hot" smell - I experienced this, but I learned quickly it is due to a lack of maintenance. If you run tub clean cycles occasionally and make sure to drain the condensation and clean the lint trap after every cycle, you won't have any issues.

Have owned for a year and am happy with the purchase. This is a great machine, I am loving the combo feature and not having to switch the wash from the washer to the dryer. I can set the cycle - come home and the laundry is all set!! Also the machine takes up less space-- which is great!!

The best thing you can buy you won’t regret it easy to use this machine change my life now I can come home do laundry easy I definitely love it even my husband that at the beginning was a little mad at me cause I want it this that is two in one washer and dryer now he do laundry and when I get home to do it he already do it he keep buy expensive detergent and stuff he loves it a lot

I bought this to go in a compact space in our cabin so i would have to haul our dirty clothes, linens home. The fact that it will wash and dry and I don't have to switch loads is amazing. It's still new and I'm still learning how to operate this compact genius, but so far it's pretty amazing.

This unit was delivered on June 22. It has a malfunctioning vibration sensor which was failing sporadically. Service tech was here on July 10 and I now have one scheduled for August 9 knowing what I know today I would never have bought this. The machine currently is not usable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does this washer offer every setting you could want in a washer, but it is simple to operate and so quiet you will need the “end of cycle” alarm to know that your load is done. We are 67 and 70 years old and found our unit very easy to operate we didn’t really need the instructions!

No pedestal available from LG, had to have one built for an added expense as machine is too low to see controls and use without considerable bending, bad for the back. Very small capacity, not for washing sheets, towels, larger items. No lint catching screen is also inconvenient, must wipe lint from door rim. Aside from these and a few other design issues, the combination design is a reasonable solution for limited space.
