I purchased this unit to replace my 12 year old unit and am extremely happy that I did. My new washer/dryer pair have my laundry done in half the time of my old units and the app lets me monitor where everything is in real time and sends alerts when everything is done. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.

My washer came after Christmas, and my houseguests had just left. It has been going really strong since. I love it. My last washer was a regular top loader so I wasn't sure if I would like a front loader, but I find it is easier on me and on my clothes. It is also quieter than my old washer. Cleans great. Thumbs up!

This is my first front load washer and so far, (less than a month), I love it! It's quiet. Large loads are no problem! Love the chimes when the cycle in complete!

My new LG front loader has so many features and is so easy to use. Water saving, energy saving, wi-if, direct drive, and the list goes on! Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our older model washer finally quit. This LG is at the top of a leading "consumer magazine" ratings. Plenty of useful features and large capacity makes this a laundry washing mega machine. We like the bluetooth connectivity and being notified through the app that the machine is done with a cycle. The 3-star rating is primarily due to the poor durability of the finish. We went with the black stainless and after a few days of a plastic laundry basket or plastic detergent bottle on top, the top is covered with fine surface scratches. What a disappointment. Should be much more durable and tough. It's like the factory neglected to put a clear coat on it? It's shiny, but simply scratches too easily/not through the paint, just looks worse than the 20-year machine we replaced.

I love the large capacity. I can wash comforters. Although my clothes do not come out clean. Theres not enough water to wash my clothes to come out clean. I have to run 3 rinses everytime to get the soap out. Also laundry pods stain the clothes because theres not enough water to dissolve the laundry pod.

The wash cycles take forever. The clothes come out twisted together and in knots. I don't know how any are getting clean when they come out in a ball. Also, it smells horrible! I leave the door and the soap tray open after each use as directed. My husband has taken it apart once and found so much sludge in the rubber door piece and behind the basin. If I don't wipe it down after use the slimy sludge comes back immediately. It's disgusting. And why do I have to clean a washing machine daily and run a monthly cleaning cycle?!? Worst money we've ever spent. I'd take my top loader back in a heartbeat
