[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer about a month and a half ago. We probably wash 5 loads a week. Once you read the manual and do a few loads it's pretty easy to use. I use the normal setting 95% of the time and make adjustments to that for Towels and White clothes. We changed the way we dry clothes too. I no longer use softener in the wash (it just leaves residue on the tub). I put 3 wool balls with a few drops of scented oil on them in the dryer. That makes the clothes dry faster and there's no need for dryer sheets. I also turned the heat down to medium. Clothes come out soft and fluffy with no static, especially the towels. We've been married 46 years and I was the lucky one that read the manual and inherited doing the laundry job. I actually like it. Now I'm the chief cook and laundry washer. She folds everything and does dishes. Hint: READ THE MANUAL and don't be afraid to experiment with the settings.

I purchased this washer 8/2020. I absolutely love this washer. My laundry room is on the second floor and this machine is so quiet. It is so smart. This baby determines the right amount of water, never goes out of balance, gently gets my clothes clean and lets me know when it s time to unload. Couldn't ask for anything more. Did I mention I love the color?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased LG washer to replace my washer which failed after 6 years Have had the LG washer for 4 weeks and have done different types of items and so far very pleased with the operation of the machine and the results of the washed items. i would recommend the washer to be purchased Only item I find fault with is not being able to adjust the volume on the finish signal due to the washer being in the basement, this does not affect the operation of the machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this washer for a couple of weeks and so far, it cleans well; is relatively quiet (for a washer.) The smart features are convenient because I usually forget to move the laundry along. The washer looks great and overall, I highly recommend it. The waterproof mode also cleans well and didn't damage the waterproof things I washed. I can also fit most of the weekly laundry for 2 people.

I bought this washer in 2019. It has become the bane of my existence. In 2021 I had to have a repair tech remove the inner drum and clean it because no amount of tub clean cycles with any washer cleaning products will fully get rid of the scrud. Then again, in 2024, I had the inner drum replaced with a brand new one in case mine had some sort of design flaw causing the scrud to continue building up. I hoped that would fix it. Nope. Here we are in 2026 and YET AGAIN I have scrud build up. I've done over TWENTY tub clean cycles and I'm still getting a few scrud flakes every tub clean and will have to have the inner tub taken out and cleaned AGAIN on top of a monstrous water bill from all the tub cleans. It's absolutely insane that this washer basically requires you spend a few hundred every 2 years to have the inner tub removed to be cleaned and are gambling on if you'll end up with scrud on your clothes with each wash.

I wrote a report earlier and here is more proof. I took these shorts out of the washer. They were dirtier than when they went in. I decided to hand wash them. Look at this filth. You'd actually be better leaving them in a rain storm. They would be cleaner

I do not like this machine at all. It doesn't clean clothes. I've tried every setting, every hack, every recommendation. I've cleaned it and scrubbed it. I've used less soap more soap. Let it air out, left the door and soap dispenser open after each use and still our clothes smell.

This is the worst product ever made. I have taken it apart and cleaned it top to bottom. I have tried the tub clean cycle. I have followed all recommendations and it destroys expensive (or any) clothes. Big dirt streaks, grease, grime etc. Clothes come out way dirtier than they go in. I am an expert engineer and very talented with tools. It just doesnt work and there is nothing to fix it. Just plain get out of the washer business

This machine now needs all components other than the motor replaced. This has been confirmed by your texh after an onsite diagnostic visit. In the course of my life, I have purchased use washers that outperformed this machine. Service tech is terrific! However, I won't purchase another poor performing inferior LG product. Honest enough?
