Please LG continue to be a good product leader

Grayhairbandit May 28, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the washer at the top of 2024. My Mom has almost the same washer and I loved using hers. the clothes come out clean and fresh. it doesn't use a lot of water, my old washer died. I had it 20 years though, so it served us well. This washer is quiet and efficient. I hope it served my family well, it seems to be doing a good job. my only issue is it doesn't have the short wash feature , like my Moms. otherwise I have no issues.

Best Washing Machine Ever

Pinkrose April 28, 2024

I've had this washer for about one month and I must say it's one of the best washing machine I've owned. I did have to check out a few YouTube videos to find out which wash cycle works best depending on each load. Overall its s great washing machine. I love everything about it.

Love, love my LG washer!!!

lady917 March 13, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for almost two weeks. I absolutely love it. It is so quite, and takes such a small amount of detergent. My old washer was a little over 20 years old. What an amazing difference!

Does not remove lint and loud squeaky noise

Washer for Susan May 27, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I bought a top load, and somewhat disappointed. First of all, all the lints are not removed from the clothes and damages my garments even in " normal cycle". Recently I had to have service to change major part under drum because it was making loud squeaky noise when ever it was turning. Third complaint is that dryer does not connect with ThinQ like the washer. called the service and was told there maybe problem with my wifi. washer connects fine and the dryer is right next to it. One positive is that there is no more oder.

Some clothes come out DIRTIER than they came in

JayDay February 4, 2026

I've been very unhappy with this washer. The Bad - the basin doesn't always have enough water to cover the clothing, I've had MANY clothes come out dirtier than they came in, I've had clothing come out WITH stains that weren't there prior to washing, my husbands work clothes don't get clean, his deodorant doesn't wash out of his work shirts. Overall not doing the job of a washer. The Good - it's a very large capacity, it's pretty quiet, easy to figure out the display.

Warning Mildew issue

LaurenPort May 27, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this machine about a year and have recently started noticing mildew/mold chunks on all our clothes. I have run the wash tub cycle multiple times and used the cleaning tub packets and nothing works. Thinking of getting rid of this machine.

Stuck below the agitator

Steiney25 July 12, 2025

I washed two inner shower curtains and one of them got stuck in the crack between the agitator and the tub how is this possible. Was a good washing machine until this happened what am I to do now pay for a service guy to come out and fix it? I don't think I should have to

Do not buy

SusanaA1 June 8, 2025

This is hands down the worst washing machine I have ever owned. What is the use of high efficiency washer if you have to use deep wash and extra rinse on every load? Items do not come out clean and have never come out clean even when brand new. This washer is about a year old and is a disgrace. It should be taken off the market.

Mold building is relentless!

SchooleeFam November 18, 2025

Mold buildup inside the drum componenets has been horrible - we have had this unit for about 5 years - I leave the lid up always when its not in use - we don't have a high humdity home and I have used monthly buidlup cleaner - All that to say - clothes never seem truly clean even with the agitator. We started to see black flakes on our clothes especially white because it stands out. I removed the agitator cap and the entire inside was filled with mold. We then removed the agitator and it was absolutely disgusting. Tried as best we could to remove the mold and now when we run the extra heavy duty wash that raises the water level we still get mold flakes on the clothes - this tells me that the inside of the exterior of the drum is compromised with mold as well. We will never buy another and are in the process of replacing with a Speed Queen

Has to be the worst wash ever, right?

um123 October 23, 2025

How there isnt a recall on this washer is beyond me. Soap scum/scrud/limestone/dirt is left in the tub or all over clothes causing marks all over them every time no matter the setting. Ive researched every tip and trick from lg and other articles/videos, nothing works. Clothes never get clean and neither does the wash itself, tried every type of detergent, less detergent, every cleaning method, try to clean in more than once every 30 washes, and its not even buildup bcuz its been happening since only a month after purchase. Ive researched every tip and trick from lg and other articles/videos, nothing works. Ive even taken apart parts of the wash and did a deeper clean but its never not there. I did a deep clean and the scrud return after only 2 weeks (around 20 washes) theres no way i should need to remove the whole agitator and drum that often to maybe get it mostly clean for the time being. I can run 20 tub cleans in a row and the flakes/sediment still is there and will quickly build again. Im sure my hard water doesnt help but ive tried so many things ive researched about how to limit hard water buildup (using specific cleaning tablets, ingredients, cusing certain kinds of detergent etc) and nothing really helps. Oh yea i almost forgot to mention that its pretty much unusable when not using deep fill. Clothes wont even get all wet, or clean. How did lg let this on the market, did they do no tests on this before selling it? This is the first “new” washer ive had and its 100xs worse then older ones. When searching for a new washer none of the new ones seemed all that great based on tons of reviews, articles, etc that i read for weeks. I couldnt spend for the best reviewed ones (speedqueen i believe) Somehow i ended up choosing this one bcuz it seemed to be the one with the least problems and at least had alot of good features that i want (i like the big size that easy fits large bedding and i like getting notifications about when the cycle is done (thats the only great thing about this one) but i didnt expect it to be this poor and frustrating to do what it should be best at which is washing clothes. And ever since i got this i see the reviews on it have been absolutely horrible. Bad timing i guess but still lg needs to do something about this garbage, id rather get a new wash at this point but i dont want to spend for 2 new washers its ridiculous
