Been using this washer since December and it works great! Very quiet. I like the Turbo wash feature for a shorter time, and the option to add extra water if you want. Since I am short in height, I need to use a step stool to reach the bottom when taking out the clothes, but no big deal. Would definitely recommend this washer.
It has only been a few weeks since we purchased our LG washer and dryer. I love the fact that it has a large tub with no center agitator. This will help washing large items, (bedding, etc.)
We have Purchased the WT7900HBA with the hopes that the machine would preform half as good as you say. It is an exceptional piece of machinery that preforms . It senses how much water is needed per individual "load" and how long it needs to run . The clothes have come out of the wash cleaner than any washer we have used in the past, LG you have done it again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being disappointed with my front load washing machine I was very excited to try this top load washer out and oh man do I love it. I was able to wash my large sleeping bag AND add more clothes. The touch screen buttons are nice, sometimes slightly delayed, love all of the different settings. 10/10 would recommend this washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome washer! This thing has a huge capacity and is super high tech. Tons of settings and even the ability to connect via wifi. Best of all the washer is super quiet. It doesn't seem like you can keep the lid open to fill while loading but that is a small negative.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many features on this LG washer. The capacity of this washer is very big to you and I could put a lot of clothes and blankets inside of it. I like how I can choose between different cycles and when I do wash my clothes it is very quiet. I like the look of this washer as well and the design and I also like how I can use an app to control the washer and my cycles to stop and start. This is a one-of-a-kind washer and it definitely gets the job done. This is a quality washer and I highly recommend it.
This machine was to replace an LG WT5101 I had for 9 years. Very disappointed in the new model. Waterplus feature cannot be be done without the machine switching to deepwash, electronic pause/start button malfunctions consistently, wash machine overfills or doesn't fill enough, machine is louder, no option for just spin cycle anymore, only rinses with cool water, and gets out of balance somehow much easier. Overall the machine is quite a disappointment compared to the old model I had.
It's certainly an uograde from what we had, which was an old Whirlpool top load washer. But it's not exactly what we were expecting inso far as such superior performance as was touted. We had a problem the second day washing two, thin, full size quilts on the bedding cycle. The machine kept running for over FOUR HOURS before we finally had to manually stop the machine, pull the plug, force it to reset and then manually WRING OUT both quilts over the sink to be able to get them into the dryer. This was really disappointing and annoying. The 'Spin' cycle also continued to just add water to the quilts and then spinning and managed to start another non-ending loop of which also had to be manually stopped. Most all of the other loads progressed thru their stages normally, though occasionally it does seem to have balance issues where it knocks.
This was a great washing machine for the first almost 3 years and then it started staining our clothes with a charcoal colored stain on multiple items in each load, no matter what cycle it was on. We cleaned the machine monthly like you're supposed to so it was not from lack of upkeep. When first investigating what was causing the stains, we found the metal spoke wheel under the wash plate was the culprit. We cleaned it and we didn't have stains for a month or two and now they're back. And of course, this issue is not covered by the 5 year extended warranty we purchased so now after only 3 years, we have to buy a new machine. Highly disappointed. A machine that costs this much should last longer than 3 years. Will never buy LG washing machines again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the washer and dryer alittle over a month ago. The pump on the washer already had to be replaced.
