When we decided to get a new washer, I saw the LG's were highly rated. So we got this one. No regrets. It washes well, it spins better than our old machine, the clothes are dryer when they come out. The only complaint is that some of the cycles, like Delicate, are quite long. Normal, on the other hand, is only 1/2 hour.
Had this washing machine for a couple of weeks and I'm happy with its performance so far. The fill capacity is excellent, the clothing gets clean, and the spin cycle seems to extract water very well. It makes a soft high pitched noise during some parts of the wash cycle which my kids find annoying, but it doesn't bother me. I like the mobile notifications when a cycle is complete as well. The user guide is a bit lacking with information on how the wash cycles differ from each other.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the machine 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. With 5 kids we have a lot of laundry and the set of washer and dryer has been such smooth sailing working through all our needs. I also really love having the app to keep me up to date with remaining time and diagnostics.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this washer and matching drier almost a month ago and i will say i am still learning all its abilities. I did setup the Wi-Fi with both machines and it is nice that they communicate with Alexa and with each other as i am finding out which is pretty cool for instance we did a load of towels when they were ready to be dried I didn't have to turn the selector to towels it had already done that for me so their is adaptive learning with these machines which is awesome , the washer is quite and cleans cloths so much better then my old machine did . yes i would recommend these machines .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! This washer has been so amazing! Not only has it been an outstanding “wash of art”, but it saves me so much time, money and hassle! It's very mesmerizing to watch the cycles do their job as well. I love the see through lid, not only for giving me live entertainment, but also for the “slow close” feature! My previous washers would always accidentally slam shut, and sometimes with my hand/finger in them. Whomever designed this model, definitely does A LOT of laundry! It has every little detail, to make laundry the easiest task around! Thank you so much for the Best Product I have Ever purchased! Highly, Highly Recommend!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Controls and choices are hard to understand without some visual aid help from YouTube. Stain Care should not be a Special Care option but part of every Cycle Selection. Overall, the washing machine works as intended. Suggest a website with visual teaching instructions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Preforms very well! We have had an LG front loader for about 17 yrs ( same one , no issues), but decided to go back to a top loader. We finally got tired of the smell of the door seal if you leave it closed. This machine seems to knot up the clothes on regular wash. But maybe bigger loads won't do that. Soap dispenser is at a inconvenient location. Fairly quite. Lots of cycle features. Like the glass lid. Wi-Fi is the best part! It notifies you when done! Great feature!
We are so pleased with the lack of agitator and huge volume. However, it only cleans well enough on the extra water settings so it's very limiting and we basically use the only option we have to get enough water to clean.
Loved the size of the new washer. It is very quiet and nice features. The washer is less than 2 years old and is making a grinding noise during wash rinse cycle. Of course, it is after the one year warranty. I'm not happy that we need to get his repaired.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a month ago. Didn't get even one wash and it didn't work. Waiting on parts and a repair.
