LG XBOOM Go XG5QBK Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Sound quality is pretty good. Never gonna blow your socks but handy for a bit of music on the patio. Loud enough to annoy the neighbours should you feel the need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed right off you only get a cord, no a/c adapter. I downloaded the Xboom app. Where it shows battery percent, connections, sound, and lights. I was able to pair it to my tv and use it like a soundbar while streaming shows. I paired it with my voice device to voice command music. I just love the bass boost sound that I get from it. The sound fills the room for such a small speaker. The wireless range is quite far. I have used it outside next to the pool and on the patio. In the xboom app you can turn the lights to different colors. I'm not a big fan of the lights as they run the battery down a lot quicker. But guess it would be nice to have for a party. There is no handle to carry it around. I was looking to buy a case for transporting but there is nothing. I like the fabric grill and the rubber feet on the bottom, nothing vibrates when it's turned up. I"m impressed with the rich sound and the many things I can hook to it wireless and with a cord if you choose. You get 18 hr battery life at 50% volume and no lights. Wireless party link and can connect up to 10 of this same speaker and also the other LG models. Overall it sounds great, and it's very well made, and easy to use.

It produces sound that you would expect a much larger speaker. The led lighting effects are really cool and customizable. The subs at either end really thump and look great in motion. I really appreciate the 18 hours battery life as well. Great speaker, would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG XG5 Xboom Go portable speaker is so nice and compact. I have the speaker connected to my UltraGear monitor that accentuates it so well. For a compact speaker like this it packs a punch. I also have the XG7 big brother but this XG5 being nice and compact can fit and go with you just about any where. Not to mention the speaker has up to 18 hours of battery time. The speaker has easy Bluetooth connectivity button allowing you to connect your devices on the fly. If your old fashion then AUX is there to get it pumping in no time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My problem with most portable speakers is the lack of bass which is inherently due to their design. I'd rather have a slightly larger speaker if it means better bass and the XG5 is better for it. The oversound soundscape is very good especially with the enhanced sound button on the unit. Setting up bluetooth was fast and the app to control the lighting is easy to use. The battery is sufficient for its size and can last even longer if you turn off the lighting which is a big benefit to me. Since its usb c, you can charge it with your phone charger too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the LG XBOOM Go this model is XG5QBK and it comes with instructions and a USB C cable. The speaker right out the box feels nice and it is only 1.5 lbs. it is of a good size so it fits on my backpack easy. Downloading the app on both either Android or IOS is much cooler because I can play around with the sound and lights. The battery life can last up to 18 hours and I think it is more than plenty. I like the lights, they light up the space and brings life to the party. I also like that if other people have their own LG speakers that are compatible with wireless party link then with up to 10 speakers playing the same music, it is a party. Another plus side to this speaker is the ability to use the speaker as a speakerphone. At max volume the speaker does not get distorted in sound with the sound boost or standard. This is a speaker to take with every day to have a party anywhere. I like it as well as family and friends.

I have to say I was having Bluetooth speaker dramas,I brought two speakers from high street shops.the first one would Bluetooth to the tv but not to the iPad or the phone,the 2nd well my phones volume was louder than that thing.decided to pop into curry's and see what they had to offer.very informative staff member and I was able to Bluetooth my phone to several speakers to try out before I purchased.I eventually went for this one and they say 3rd time lucky. Wow the first thing that got me was the sound level.I like my neighbours to hear my music lolol,I read online the higher up you put the box the better the sound and I have to say I 100% agree.I had it on the table and it was lovely but then I was moving around the house doing house work and was putting it at different levels and finding I was going higher and higher, because yep it got better sound wise the higher it went,think surround sound on tvs,I have shelf's at 20ft high so they have come in handy lololol. The sound boost button is fabulous,although you don't always need it,it boosts the base so nicely, I found that first thing in the morning that was a bit to much but once my head had woken up with coffee yep I found myself reaching for the button to boost the sound even further. Stupid I know but I'm even impressed with the on/of button.no holding it for ages to turn it on or of,quick little touch and it's sorted Handy little app to download to control things like sound levels or the ambient lighting on each end (you cannot do this on the speaker itself)

Great clear sound, perfect with bass. The speaker is very well built.

Once you install the Xboom app on your device it is easy to connect the speaker via blue tooth. This gives you more control over the speaker, especially the light settings. The sound boost feature is especially good and useful.
