[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get the XG9 Xboom go so when it showed up on my doorstep, i dropped everything to get it unboxed and plugged in to charge. Now i have owned bluetooth speakers since they were even a thing, and working the last 14 years for a major cell phone company i have my fair share of experience with bluetooth audio devices. The first experience every user has is the initial bluetooth connection to their personal device. LG makes this setup as seamless and easy as any device i've used, very intuitive even the most tech deficient boomer could manage this device. After connecting I had the joy of comparing this speaker side by side with a competitor, admittedly this speaker stacks up almost identically in the market for price, size, and features, i was pleased to find that despite the simliarity on paper this purchase was not a waste, the Xboom comes out with deeper bass notes and richer and clearer treble. beyond that the light feature and settings is an added bonus from competitors and makes the listening experience more immersive and personalized. The weight is a little unwieldy and i wouldn't want to pack this along on any hikes or long walks, but this is great for a day at the park or beach or backyard barbecue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is awesome. 1st off it's so portable and can be taken anywhere, like offroading or to the park. The battery lasts all day and does not impact the sound or quality. Since it's water resistant and dust resistant I don't worry about using it outdoors. The handle makes it easy to carry around and move. My daughter loves the light show that it puts on and dances every time we start music. I love the feel of the bass. My favorite feature is the Bluetooth capability since I can answer calls and control Google assistant.

Deep, pounding bass will fill the room (and the room next door) and lights will dance on the woofers and the wall. I had quite a smile listening to some energetic favorite playlists, struggling to resist the urge to move to the music. It's easy to tell from the first time picking it up that this is a solid, well-built portable speaker. With an IP67 rating, it's really nice to not worry about splashing a little water on it or carrying it from the car to the party. With a large battery, it's easy to have a great time with power to spare. This speaker is worth the size and weight for the powerful potential and ability to bring the party with you. Looking forward to more excuses to turn it up and get people moving.
