Much better then the plastic ones. Very sturdy and has a smooth turn. No Assembly required. has a nice paint job on it . No chips and seems like it will stand up to the weather. Only wish it came with stakes to keep it in the ground. But that was easy enough to fix with some tent stakes.

it is made well it doesn't leak and came with these four grommet kind of feet and I bolted it to the floor in my pickup truck bed and it just works well I can see that it's going to last years

Very well made, easy to install and use. No leaks and the bearings spin so free you need to watch how hard you pull it off the reel. I am very satisfied with the purchase so far, two weeks of use.

Reel was delivered and operated as promised

I use this reel to hold 200ft of 3/8 air hose, I use this for deionized water. This reel works great and last me usually about 5 years of commercial use. Since I use this in the back of my truck I mounted two 2x6's underneath it to make it more stable.

So far so good. It was able to hold 2 x 50 ft hoses. Only downside is that there's no way to lock the unit from unwinding. I did rig it to hold it but a lock feature would have been great.

No bearings on the shaft, weak handle, shaft floats rubbing on sides of frame, shipped in thin box so as to allow the unit to get bent and then you need to bent it back in shape to use it.. if you need strength spend the extra hundred bucks.

I bought two of these and the second package was obviously a return from another buyer (box was taped and re-taped and that should have been a clue): Side panels are bent, no handle in the package, cut tie wraps in the box. This is a good product, so I'll fix this one, but won't buy again, not because these are bad products, but because the seller tried to jam a damaged return on us. They'll say 'just return it' but 1) they know that's too big a hassle and 2) they'll obviously just send my return on to the next poor sap that trusted Walmart and Liberty Garden. But it local so you can see it.

The hose reel arrived in a flimsy box with little protection. One wheel was lopsided with a broken spoke. The handle when attached scrapes up against the frame. It arrived in an unusable state. I suspect even if it arrived unbent this isn't built to last. If you want a reel that will last a while, find another product.

Hazardous reel I almost chopped my finger off loading hose.....bought month ago....sent one back due to poor design and thought I would try one of the two originally bought...MISTAKE....Do not buy
